A ring works more as a defense mechanism than anything. There are more stand-ups and re-sets due to rope entanglement. It slows the fight down. Will still watch the awesome card, but a ring takes a little bit of the enjoyment out for me personally. i dont see why the Cage isn’t made standard for all MMA.
