The only thing I worry about franchise gyms particularly MMA gyms - too large might not mean you get the attention as other clubs/schools because the student instructor/ratio is way off i.e. 50 students to 1 instructor. Having said that then how can you focus on improving technical skills. Also, granted they may have some named instructors that have fought in UFC, IFL etc but that doesn't necessarily equate to good fighter = good instructor. Things you need to worry about. I don't doubt they do have the best facility to date in terms of the resources available to you - fitness facility, ring etc. But if you intend to improve your skills with a high student to instructor then it may take much longer than with a ratio of 20 to 1. Also, I'm sure the price will significantly increase to possibly $150/month for 1 year. Now who could really afford that - students (I don't think so), you look at the target audience of MMA and they are generally 20 - 35 years old. So while this may good ($99) for the start I'm sure they will feel it in the pocket book later and are forced not to continue due to financial reasons. I think this would definitely work for those who can swallow that monthly bill along with those who have medium to strong technical skills as a foundation. But for the beginner , they may not benefit as much. That’s a very good price.
