I think mike w ould win if he wored out hard and trained i have faith and all you guys putting mike down he would woop yo a$$ because h probably can still punch hard and he will need to rain hard i think no i know he can beat kimbo slice kinbo thought he could beat somebody based on their color not based on their skills and he fought crazy so he losed to the white guy and by the way Mike tyson’s gonna win I’m black 2 black power all day baby oh yeah bye c ya \V/ <(peace)<

I just want to say that this will be a good fight if he actually boxes and not cage fight. I think he should cage fight with cage fighters and box with boxers you know, it doesn’t make sense. There’s no sense at all in cage fighting a boxer. It’s like fishing for deer it makes no sense and its just stupid and not wort watching

people tend to forget what boxing is all about, its about who can move faster, conserve there energy , hit with force , bt not enough to tire him out first round, and to stay on the defence at all times. Kimbo slice has not shown one of these qualities. He is simply a savor to all those who want to see a fight like the movie rocky. KImbo is for people that want to see a fighter that throws haymakers , and does fulfills every fantasy people have about boxing. In reality Kimbo is not a boxer, and would not stand a chance against most pro boxers today; nt to mention Tyson was and still is a GREAT boxer. To sum it all up itd be a 2 round (maximum) KO for Tyson , Tyson would manhandle Kimbo in the ring, and in the street.

This topic after settling in has made me come up
with the idea of a Kimbo Slice Punch Out game.
Basically a modern version of the Tyson classic but
in the back yard to the MMA ring…

Like in Music or any other entertainment industry you can work your way uo through the ranks and then earn the big money or sell your soul for hard currency and get there immediatley.

Who is a more respectible artist? Someone who breaks the charts through playing bars and small town show or someone who wins Idol or Making the Band? Who is a more respectible MMA fighter? Kimbo who is given star status or Dan Hardy who UFC signed this week who has worked himself up through small organisations to get noticed and signed?

Kimbo has sold his soul & integrity to Gary Shaw for cash. I hope he enjoys its and spends it wisely.

Goodness here we go again. Everbody here is discussing how and why they are hating on kimbo – WHY HATERS WHY ?
Why is it soooo difficult to embrase Kimbo ?
So hate Kimbo just because he’s already SOO popular without beating anyone. SO WHAT ?
Kimbo was popular BEFORE he came to EliteXC. His popularity is the reason Gary signed him. Any yes he will fight cans – who cares -the guy is new to the game.

Every haters says Kimbo should fight Fedor now so he can lose and they can write in all forum “Fedor just beat Kimbo, Kimbo’s useless” – Call it what you like but to me it’s jealously evy and hate.
It’s good for MMA that Kimbo’s here. Other fighters will get a better paycheck down the line, trust me.

true. it depends on the venue. if its a boxing match, and if it is a 25 milion dollar fight(it could happen) an inshape tyson could win. ina mma match kimbo would maul tyson. gary shaw is going back on what he originally stated( not the first time) that as soon as kimbo made his name in mma he would switch him to boxing. noe he’s saying that he wants to keep slice in mma to long enough to fight a real mma fighter, this fight will only happen if its a boxing match.

I agree that Kimbo is not ready for top 10 competition, but there is a wide gulf between the top 10 and the dregs he’s been fighting. There are plenty of HWs in the their 20s instead of their 40s with well-rounded skills that would be appropriate for someone who’s been training with Bas Rutten every day for over a year.
