Pro Elite — the parent company of MMA organizations such as Elite XC, King of the Cage, Cage Rage, Icon Sport and others — recently announced that its Web site (ProElite.com) will now feature a video On Demand section.
The upgrade will allow fans to access past fights from each of various promotions, which includes bouts that involve notables such as UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn and many other MMA superstars.
In addition, fans will be able to view under card bouts from Elite XC and other Pro Elite events that weren’t aired on the original broadcasts. Fans will have the option to view single fights starting at .99 cents or entire events for just $4.95.
That’s hard to beat.
Unlimited access will also be available in the form of a “Pro Elite Fight Pass,” which is normally $12.95 a month, but will be on sale for $7.95 a month at an introductory price.
Here’s a snip from Douglas Deluca, Pro Elite executive chairman:
“We have hand picked hours upon hours of high-quality MMA content and provided a compelling online product that is accessible to fans on a global scale. With more than 50 hours of combat currently available and 20 hours added monthly, our Fight Pass offering allows MMA fans to gain instant access to all of the MMA action they can handle.”

thats a hell of alot cheaper than ufc’s on demand. a buck a fight, thats the way it should be, although you can watch most for free somewhere on the net.
I tried to have an open mind, and realize it’s about money, but I personally feel TUF has run its course. The talent level on the show has steadily declined, and is now at the pathetic stage. One fighter takes a guy down over and over and lays on him, the other two swing away, and then gets a bad decision. The “takedown” for points rule is lame. If a guy is getting owned standing, and scores 2 takedowns, how does that constitute a won round? Just pathetic. Nate diaz and Mac Danzig were well on theur way to the UFC with or without the show. How many other fighters in the past few years are still in the UFC and actually worthy of mention? Kendall Grove?? Bisping is the last “star” of the show, not including the “revival tour” that was Serra. There are other organizations out there now, and the talent on the show is rapidly declining!
it is indeed. the worst of it is holding up the titles far to long. why not have mir/nog this summer. worst case scenario, one fighter gets dominated and they have to find new coaches. whooped-dee-doo. best case scenario(and most likely) is that they have a great match and the tuf season sets up for a rematch on new years. now how hard would it be for dana to come up w/ that idea.
or as I’ve stated before, real coaches/trainers. Caesar, jackson, cook, Militich, etc. But I truly believe the talent pool isn’t there!
A lot fighters have come from TUF. Forrest, Diego, Kos, Florian, Leben Quarry, Swick, Davis, Stevenson, Rashad, Jardine, and the list goes on… oh yeah and dont forget about andy wang.
But these are all from the first two seasons, I totally agree with Kevin & BW. Having titles on hold for this long is far too long. IMO with five divisions there should be a title defense each month in a rota basis (not withstanding injuries) for each respective weight with a contendor match on the following card as the co main event the month after.
If you get to see Anderson Silvas Cage Rage KO with his elbow thats a pretty impressive KO. Well worth it.
i would have to agree with kevin but alot of these guys dont even have fights under there belts they need to go after guys witha atleast 7 or more fights in minnesota they have mma once a month at about 5 to 7 diffrent night clubs and at the casions i mean get people to go look at the talent in diffrent states cities go get recruiter like other sports do
a while ago someone said that they ordered ufc dvds on the web like old ones you now ufc 20 and up 2 for the price of 1 would some one help me out.
That’s cool, I’m so going to be hitting that website, UFC aside, we get crappy MMA coverage in the UK so I’m all for cheap web based solutions!
