And ya know, I shouldnt really, cuz I know he doesnt do anything worthy of hating, its just all the hype around him still, and the claim of number one still going on, I would just really like to see Tim beat him and get back on track, as unlikely as that is. Tim fights more and fights better people as of late, think in that aspect he deserves it more.

Is that a real photo?? I didn’t watch this fight? I know the guy he was fighting was big but that looks like a scene out of a monster film or something.

Yeah thats a real photo of the fight. This was not a bad event. I bought the dvd yesterday and it was better then I expected. Real mma fans should be very happy that this dvd was released in America because it gives us hope that DREAM will release dvd’s of their events (probably under an HDNET title, about 3-5 months after the event takes place)…. As for the Yerronaka dvd, I enjoyed the event..the misaki vs. akiyama fight was awesome and ended with a NAST KO (that after reviewing was clearly legal). Melendez suffered his 1st loss against Ishida (who’s wrestling would make him a force in the UFC). The Kawajiri vs. Azeredo fight was good as well.

As for the FEDOr fight….In no way do I like the fact that he fought Choi who was only 1-0 in mma thus far. However I do understand why he took the fight. Japan’s culture is very different from ours…while we are fixated on records, Japanese fans enjoy their freakshow matches….and this fight was just a way for Fedor to give back to the Japanese fans who made him so popular, and I can respect that. Fedor will cement his place as the best HW in the world by dominating Sylvia in brutal fashion like Sylvia has never been dominated before….I feel for the fools who think Tim has a shot against FEDOR…Come July, even the haters will realize that he is the MIKE Jordan of mma! Just cause he hasnt been really tested this past 2 years, does not mean that he is not the best…He is still undefeated and has never lost a round in over 20 fights….How can people hate on this man? Then again even the great Jordan had haters so I guess its understandable…People like to hate on greatmness and its a shame…. Fedor comes from a very different culture then ares, and while at times I do not like his career choices, I understand them! Fedor will thrash Tim, Randy and whatever other UFC Heavyweight reject that tries to challenge him!

Down the line, a fight that would interest me is Hong Man Choi vs. Tim Sylvia. I know Tim is an effective striker and I would like to see how Choi’s striking matches up against Sylvia’s

choi has since retired from combat sports cuz he was forced into joining the korean army.( where they found a uniform that big i’ll never know). after ive read somewhere he has had problems passing a physical because of his pitutury gland, so who knows? i have to admit even though i thought this fight was a travishamockery, that is the coolest fight poster (or picture) i have ever seen. i wanna know where i can buy one of those! ican watch rhe fights (and have on the net.

I thought Fedor had one controversial loss against him early in his career via early stoppage or dubious cut or something like that.

In reality Fedor fought Nogueira 3 times.. He deciselvly won 2 of those fights(1st and 3rd fights) The 2nd figt was stopped a minute into the fight because Fedor suffered a cut due to a headbut by Nogueira. Since headbutts are illegal the fight was ruled a no contest.
B.W: u r right, I forgot that Choi went all military on us….I do wonder hjow his striking would match up with Tim Stlvia’s

Is it just me or was it kind of stupid to put the end of the main event on the cover of the DVD.

no. everyone already knows the outcome of this fight, and if not, they probably wouldnt know this was the end. but i do see your point.

This wasn’t really the end, it was his first submission attempt which failed.
