adrenaline mma
Adrenaline MMA has amended the initial fight line up for its debut event at the Sears Centre in Chicago, Ill., on June 14, to include 14 total bouts with a few additional changes to those matches previously announced.

It still features some familiar names and faces, including the main event between Jason Guida and relatively unknown but talented local product, Mike Russow.

Here’s the revised fight card:

Main event:

Jeff Monson vs. Jason Guida

Main card:

Daiju Takase vs. Terry Martin
Zac George vs. Clay French
Tony Fryklund vs. Brian Gassaway
Jeff Cox vs. Bart Palaszewski
Tiawon Howard vs. Rory Markham
Anthony Lapsley vs. Mark Miller
Herc Hayes vs. Kerry Schall
Rob Kimmons vs. Hector Urbina
Aaron Rosa vs. Ron Fields
Louis Taylor vs. Adam Maciejewski

Preliminary bouts:

Dom O’Grady vs. Mike Stumpf
Joe Jordan vs. Ryan Williams
Joe Pearson vs. John Hosman

Not participating on the card, clearly, are the two biggest stars of the upstart promotion — former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylva and former undefeated IFL standout Ben Rothwell. Both fighters have been loaned out and will participate on the debut Affliction show at the Honda Center in Sacramento, Calif., on July 19.

In fact, Sylvia is set to take on the last man to hold the Pride FC heavyweight title, Fedor Emelianenko, and Rothwell is rumored to be fighting another former UFC heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski.

Adrenaline MMA was created after the collapse of M-1 Global – a joint effort between American and Russian counterparts. Monte Cox – a long-time manager for several high profile mixed martial artists – now runs Adrenaline MMA as its president and CEO.

So, Adrenaline will be on HDnet, but Affliction is PPV. Is that how it currently stands???

I know Affliction is PPV and NOT HDnet. But what about Adrenaline??

Attention all Japanese mma fans. DREAM is giving the fans a chance to vote for what match ups we want to see in the 2nd round of the middleweight tournament. I cant tell anyone what matches to vote on, but by now I think most of you should know that I know a thing or 2 about Japanese mma. Please vote for: Jacre vs. Mayhem and Sakuraba vs. Moussasi

To Vote for what fights u want to see, click on this link: http://www.dreamofficial.com/special/vote/middle.html

That link will take you to the webpage…The problem is that all the fighters names are witten in Japanese. Once u r on the voting page, scroll down the screen and u will see a blank space vs. another blank space, and then four more rows just like it.

When u get to the 1st row, click on the thing next to the 1st open space, you will then have a list of japanease names to choose from. Moussasi is the the 3rd japanese name down from the top….Then go to the other side of the vs. and click the thing next to the back space and Sakuraba is the 4th fighter down from the top.

From there scroll down to the next blank space vs. Blank space. Click on the tab next to the 1st blank space and choose the name 5 down from the top and that will be Mayhem miller. now go over to the other side of the vs. and click the tap: scroll down and Jacre is the name thats the 2nd up from the bottom.

After that fill the rest of the match ups with the names that werent used above and when you are all finished just click the big green tab at the bottom.

Please VOTE!!! I would rather vote for this then the president of the USA. lol

John thanks for the info, I’ll check it out. But I can’t decide if your dedication to this is admirable or mildly disturbing. Lol. Posting so much can’t leave much time for school or the girlfriend.

FYI-

The venue for this match is NOT in Chicago. Its about a 30-45 minute drive from the city. Long drive for a weak card.

They should have held it in Cleveland, after the pathetic fight card is done they could light their river on fire, again!

MANIA, the StrikeForce even in June featuring Gilbert Melendez vs Josh Thompson - is it going to be aired on ShowTime or only on the StrikeForce website? Or dare I say, PPV?

This card blows dog!!! These fighters are a bunch of washups or washouts, has-beens and never-will-be’s. Watching these fights compared to the UFC is like going from the Autobahn to getting on any road in Florida (God’s waiting room) behind Ma and Pa Kettle. Just put these poor bastards out of their misery.
By the way, Jorge Gurgel needs to be added to this card and the circle will be complete! Circle Jerk that is, Gurjel being the pivot man!

last i saw monson he went the distance against barnett (about a month ago-maybe less!).

barnett looked as good there as when he beat randy couture to a pulp. couture was/is elite level,
he coulnd’t go the distance with barnett.

so i find some of the comments here to be those of people who are newbies,
and havent watched and understood much MMA and are just agreeing with whatever is hot or in the mma news.
