That was the only thing that I ever disliked about PRIDE. I can't stand when they have to move the fighters to the center of the ring, and reset their position, because it was too close to the ropes. It also screwed up more than a few takedowns. Not to mention how budget it looked in PRIDE when you would see all the little hands come up from the side of the ring to keep the fighters from rolling out. I hate the rings. I doubt this new ring will save them. They just started off with a really crappy idea when most people where still getting their head around the sport - they made many many mistakes along the way and ended up in the position they're in. Now they're coming up with gimmicks not to put on a good show, but because they're desperately trying to do anything to save their company from going bust, which seems inevitable considering their stock is at 4 cents.
