1 thing at a time roger. he had better not overlook florian, i am picking huerta to win this fight. nothing wrong w/ setting your goals high, just not to high. i didnt watch the vid so i am waiting for someone to tell me i’m wrong and should watch the video.

Slow down there Huerta! I am a big fan, but 1 step at a time. You have florian and then BJ Penn in your way 1st.

The funny part is BJ Penn might be te man keeping him from accomplishing his 2 goals because BJ really wants both the Lightweight and Welterweight titles and BJ could do it.

If Huerta wants to accomplish that goal, he may have to defeat Penn at 155 lb and 170 lb….Easier said then done!

Still I am a big huerta fan!

Aspirations are ok. The headline makes it seem like he’s calling out BJ and GSP, but that’s not the case. He just said that he would love to eventually move up on weight. If he had said that he can beat Bj and GSP, that would be one thing, but Roger’s young so he can have dreams and aspirations, BUT he must take everything one fight at a time.

Also, I got Florian beating Huerta, so Roger will be dreaming for a loooooong time.

I too have FLorain winning Roger easily, however, this is what I see in Florian. A guy that wants to be a big pull and spotlight guy for as long as possible. Number one contendar beating those guys is a much better financial descision then losing to the champion and losing your pull due to being written off.

Avoid being beaten by Penn as long as possible, stay financially appealing as long as possible, which is why he called out Huerta, not Penn.

Gotta beat 2 of the greatest MMA fighters alive in BJ Penn AND GSP?

You’re a good fighter, and I’m a fan - but work on taking out Florian before even thinking about Penn

Your performance vs Guida was good, but he had the better of you in 2.5 of 3 rounds - you got work to do bro. Good luck though.

Maybe him training with GSP has given him some confidence…..to my understanding GSP would never fight someone he trains with.

Exactly!! Think of this though should he get the 155 title by the time he gets a would be shot at 170 title, it could be 2 to 3 years in the future, where GSP would be going up to MW and take on Silva.

I’m a big fan of Huerta, but against guys like Bj and GSP he would lose 9 times out of 10 (if he’s lucky).

Huerta is my favorite fighter, yea I’m mexican too. If Roger wins against KenFlo you’ll see the UFC explode to the mexican audience. He is our only hope lol
