Additionally, the acclaimed video game development company, which has an exclusive five-year contract with the promotion, is expected to lift the hood once again and reveal the progress to date.
There hasn’t been a new video UFC video game since Ultimate Fighting Championship: Sudden Impact back in 2004; however, we can expect a steady stream of annual updates from THQ for all our PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gaming pleasure.

This Game will be soooo sick! I want it NOW!
I remember back when I played video games and had PlayStation 1. They made a UFC game for it and I was sooooooo excited to get it. It ended up being one of the worst games ever. The buttons were basically left punch, right punch, left kick, right kick, OR if you press two buttons at the same time - you perform a takedown and submission. It was AWFUL!
I haven’t played a video game in years, but I really hope that the MMA game play has improved since then.
Well if you think about it the graphics are going to be a lot better and gaming has revolutionized since then i mean look at pac-man and mario

If the game is a hit the already growing popularity of the UFC will skyrocket a la Tony Hawks Pro Skater catalysing the boom in the skateboard industry.
Also hope Chris Leben is a playable character - just walk forward with taking punches and throw the left.

Don’t waste your money on a PS3, even the guy at your local game store should tell you that. Get a 360 if you get either of them. PS3 has free online play, but 360 has waaayyyy more games and way better ones too. Any really good game you can get on PS3 you can get on a 360, so it’s worth it.
dont get a 360 I got the elite and it broke 2 times now and they are sending me a third one get a ps3 it will be worth in in the long run
ps2 are you kidding, that shit is like a vcr dogg. on the real though the game is gonna be sick, i am friends with drew mcFedries and he went and got his face and body scanned for the game a few months back. he said they are using a new system where they take actual footage from fighters real fights and put it into the computer, and get the way they move,punch,and kick, so it will match the fighters body and fighting to a T. they did away with those little bullshit balls they attach to some guy in the studio. This will be the best game ever made when it drops. they are completly re-writing how video games like this will be made CAN’T WAIT
I’ve been waiting of this game since before the first trailer was out.
The first trailer is superb though it’ll be nice to get more clips when possible.
Personally I think the game will be released late this year.
Everyone that thinks fighters like Kimbo and Fedor will join this title are morons (not saying anyone here for real thinks so, though I’ve seen it elsewhere), fighters never signed with the UFC wont be in this game.

I hate to break it to you but that video is just a “cut scene” there’s not way that the actual game play will look anywhere near that good or anywhere near that motion-fluid. For we know right now the game play is going to look about as bad as Mike Tyson’s Punch Out or something.
Anyone looking to buy a new system just for the game may want to try it out on a friends first. Would suck to buy a new system and the game blows. Don’t get me wrong I am waiting to play as well.

This game is going to be tough. Period. Its going to be hard to catch people in a submission whenever, and yet I bet you money, you will be put in a submission faster than you can say Kalib Starnes.

I say, let them take 5 more years if it means the game will be that much better. And as for who’s going to be in the game, they better have all title holders and anyone who’s in line to get at that title at least. To not have the title holders would be a big mistake. Do you guys think that they will have both downloadable content, which damn near every game has now, and a create-a-fighter feature. Seems logical they would because that is a basic part of all sports games now. Would be cool to make yourself, then the best fighters not in UFC.

This game is going to be pure button mashing. You get a hold on the ground and you have to (PS3) press x like a mad man to lock it in while your boy is pressing o to escape.

I looked at an idea roster from IGN and they had Dustin Hazelett and Brock Lesnar on there.
The reason for Dustin is because I am from Louisa Kentucky and that is where he is from although he fights out of OH. The reason for Brock is not only because he is from WWE but because he is the most dominate guy Ive ever seen. He takes everyone down way to easy and he has the strongest punch probably in the UFC. He made Heath Herring do a backflip enough said.
