I will take back what I said about Tommy Speer. I congratulate him for being the finalist in The Ultimate Fighter and having 1 win and 2 losses under his belt in the octagon.(I watched him win one fight in the WEC)
I would pay to see Tommy fight and I hope he gets back in the UFC again!

The bad move is that Dana cut Speer when the UFC is planning to have an event in Minnesota later this year. Tommy had about 100 people go all the way to Vegas to watch the finale, I can’t imagine how many people would go to watch him and other MN fighters.

Exactly. Totally agree. He’s WAY better than those two by far. He has wins over Jens Pulver, Matt Serra, Rich Clementi and Clay Guida to name a few. Yes….some before the UFC.
Maybe it was the underground fighting he was charged with - and subsequently cleared from - that left a bad taste in Dana’s mouth….You know how he is about competition. LOL.

Dude, Ben is no joke (jeet kune do, bitches) and will be making some noise at 170…Dana is not dumb neither is Joe.
Ben will still be in the UFC if he loses, but Jared that’s a different story…He’s a good fighter, but has already peaked (He’s 31) and if he starts out with a losing record of 0-2 He won’t have much time to prove he has what it takes to become a contender @ 170.
