What you say is a smart fight, was what I called fighting for a decision. I lost alot of respect for chuck when he started taking Wanderlei down. He knew he wouldn't be able to put Wandy away on the ground, but he did it anyway to bide his time instead of going for the KO. I know TD's and ground game are part of the game and all but it was Chuck Liddell for gods sake. It was the first time Id ever seen him initiate a ground attack, if thats what you could call it. Obviously I'm a biased old school pride fan and Wanderlei is like a god to me, but I was very disappointed and a little pissed off when Chuck pulled that crap.
