How can you say that GSP will destroy Silva on the ground? Silva just won against one of the best wrestlers in the UFC in Dan Henderson and Hendo likes to fight in the 205 weight class so is used to figthing against bigger, stronger men than Silva.

I think you underestimate Silva’s ground game.

If the fight takes pace it’ll be at Middleweight, I imagine that GSP will be looking to move up anyway in the near future.

Anderson at WW is a laughable concept. He is far to large to get that small…

If he was going to do 3 divisions, it would have to be MW, LHW, HW…

I meant “destroy on the ground” if Silva was 170. GSP constantly trains with people much larger than himself… I do agree Silva’s long arms and legs would be troublesome but Silva would definitely have trouble with GSP on top of him.

If they fought it wouldnt be a 16 ounce glove there only used for sparring it would be an 8 or 10 ounce glove.

I don’t think anyone could be dominant at 4 weight class and I KNOW BJ CAN’T for sure. Your not going to convince anyone that BJ has been dominant at WW with 1 win and 2 losses (the LAST 2 to boot). I don’t see a long list of victories at 185 or 205 either. BJ hasn’t even proven he can be kingpin at LW. Lets see if he can get by Sherk. The only way someone is going to beat Silva is take him down and GnP. GSP has a much better chance to do this than BJ does. So we know BJ tried and he ISN’T dominant at 4 weight classes and at the momment we can only speculate how GSP would do. The one thing we know FOR SURE is , GSP OWNES the WW division and BJ hasn’t YET proved he ownes the LW.

I agree that GSP is top 5 P$P! The fact that I don’t like him has nothing to do with the fact that BJ will destroy him. Anderson silva is (along with BJ) my favorite fighter, and yes, I think BJ has a better chance at beating silva than GSP does. No doubt GSP is dominant, but can he be dominant or even competitive at 4 weight classes??? no!!

kevin you never give GSP any respect, and nobody respects your biased opinion against him. You just shrugged off GSP with this comment just to give props to someone GSP beat, someone who left the division just to get away from the bigger, stronger GSP. BJ this, BJ that…..you’re nothing but a GSP hater. I love BJ, and think he is top-4 pound for pound, and think he is a great challenge for GSP, but you seem to think GSP is overrated, that he got lucky against BJ, that BJ will destroy him if they fight again. You’re annoying. Someone else mentioned that GSP’s wrestling is the best in MMA, and you replied with “best wrestling in mma???LOL.” Fuck yeah the best wrestling in MMA, have you been watching. Or are you just stuck on the fact that you don’t like him, and you’re not man enough to give him respect. Kenny Florian gave him the crown of being the top, or one of the top, wrestlers in all of MMA, as well as everyone else who watches the UFC with open eyes and open heart. Get over GSP, because this guy isn’t going nowhere. He’ll be the face of this organization for years to come, and if you don’t like it, theres always the WEC.
