Here we go John. It’s already gonna start. He will win, and IMO resign with the UFC, Elite can’t afford him. Tito’s biggest downfall is the male garbage disposal of a girlfriend he has always talking for him. She needs to be stuffed like a turkey (in all ways) or just shut the hell up!
I read somewhere too that ProElite won’t be able to afford Tito so I think he’ll re-sign witht the UFC after he beats Machida, also Dana has come out and said that he is going to try and re-sign him.
love him or hate him, if he’s serious about fighting and not promoting Zombie stripper movies, he’s a marketable guy that Dana would be stupid not to resign!! the truth may hurt some of you, but this is a fact…not to mention machida isn’t marketable and boring, I wouldn’t be surprised is the UFC lets him go after he loses this one.

Wildman!!! Where you been? We’ve missed you’re insightful, humble commentary. In your last episode you watched snow with some old lady at a truckstop. lol
I’m wildman’s biggest fan. He has let us know that he can beat Kimbo, Tank Abbot, and now Tito. If I send my wildman T-Shirt in the mail will you please sign it and send it back to me?
I will be shocked to see him re sign with the UFC!
I really cant see anyway Tito will win this fight. It is a complete mismatch.
We are talking about a fighter in title contention against a 1 trick pony who is lucky if he even makes the top 15. Tito’s.
His name carried him Against Forrest and Rashad who were both intimidated being there 1st really big fight. Once they realized they belonged they started working Tito. Both would have beat them were it a 5 round fight.
I dont think anyone fears him any longer so he will have to really bring it to win, and I just dont see any 1 trick ponies being successful in the UFC ever again. All the fighters have evolved, everyone cross trains and are well versed in everything. Like Matt Hughes, Tito was too stuborn to evolve and their careers are in a downward spiral. neither will ever again be in title contention and will start to look like Ken Shamrock if they dont retire in 2 years. Of course there will be some favorable match ups for both Hughes and Tito against top guys, but Machida is not even close to being a good match up for Tito. This is a really bad match up stylistically for Tito. It inexcusable that Tito and Hughes have been in the game for so long and still punch like girl;s and are afraid to get hit in the face. Tito is going to get tagged up chasing Machida around the cage!
I dont know how (KO, TKO, Submission or Decision) but Machida is NOT going to loose to Tito Ortiz.
john, there is a john (black letters) and blue, are you both or just blue?

Honestly I dont even know how to change the color. One day my name just started appearing blue, but at times I think it still shows up black….I dunno whats going on with that.
Of course Tito is much more marketable but only to the main stream fans, unlucky for us…they dont know crap, and they have a big influence on the market.
Kevin: I am telling you now, I thought of Machida the same way you did, and I know that eventually your view on him will change.
His footwork is a beautiful science and he has realized that winning isnt enough and since then he has been pushing the pace.
This is a mismatch: I guy in title contention vs. an enteratainer who cant punch his way out of a wet paper bag and likes getting hit in the face about as much as Paul Georgeieff! lol
I am very surprised to be debating this with you kevin. You will see and learn that I am not wrong too often, and when I am wrong, its usually only because I was picking the underdog with good value.
Machida and the Overs is a lock!
Mike: Shut up about Kongo alreday! My bad, I didnt know that after 10 years of fighting all over the world, Hearingf would pick that fight to start acting like a profesisonal fighter and actually training!
I’m not talking odds man, I’m talking reality. I won’t be surprised if Machida, being as boring as he is, is looking for work after Tito beats him. As I said before, not an Ortiz fan, and think he needs to concentrate on fighting more, but just the way I see it going down! He’ll resign too, he’s marketable and their are fights that UFC can put together and make a ton of money! Vandy, rampage to name a few

Machida’s science you say? Your not supposed to tilt your head back to avoid a punch because if your get caught you have the risk of being dropped. Your stance is supposed to be shoulder width apart, yet Machida’s looks like he ready to do a split. I thought you were mr. know it all? How is Tito a 1 trick pony? with wins over Wandy, Vitor, Guy, Ken in there first fight, and even Forrest who is fighting for the title. Tito will be his first real challenge, and we’ll see just how good Machida will do.

Amen brother.
I think Machida is still unproven also. Yeah he beat Soduku but he is in his early days of fighting and looked all Houston Alexander on the ground.
He was impressive against Franklin yes i’ll give him that but everyone is labeling him a world beater to early.
Tito still has a lot of talent and can be a force in the L/HW. He has only lost to Randy and Chuck since 2001, thats excusable.
He basically won against Rashad and has a recent win over Forrest. It bugs me when people write him off due to his personality and private life.
This is the last time I will respond to one of your posts because you are a baboon and you rarely contribute anything positive to this site and just waste your time attacking people. Thanks for the Mr. Know it all comment, I didnt know you felt so highly about me. Its an honor to interpret my posts as me being Mr Know it all. The hate is a sign of admiration and respect, you are just too ignorant and confrontational to admit to yourself that you appreciate my posts.
I dont talk trash to anyone on this site. Like I said before I only engage in intelligent debates, a concept you arent very familiar with. Its a shame you cant find a way to disagree with someone with out being a confrontational hater.
What makes Machida’s style a sweet science is because its so unique. No one fighting in mma fights like him which makes him very difficult to prepare for. Its hard to prepare for a guy that you cant find training partners that are able to mimick him. Machida’s timing and his distance control are amazing and its a shame that you dont appreciate that.
I have said it a million times. I too used to think Machida was boring and over rated. I based it on his UFC fights as well as his fights with Penn, Franklin. I will admit that he used to bore the crap out of me, but like he said in all his interviews leading up to the Nakamura fight he just then started to understand that just winning in the UFC is not enough. You have to not only win, but finish fights in the UFC and do it in an entertaining fashion. He kept his word and showed up very aggressive against Nakamura (who is probably better than you think lol) he was in attack mode for much of the fight wile still fighting like an untouchable Ghost…and I thought it was an impressive and entertaining display. After that fight, (which was his best performance in the UFC to date) Manchida was very dissapointed and pissed off with his performance. You could tell he sincerely wanted to finish the fight and that tells me that he gets it, and that we will see very exciting fights out of him in the future.
He always had the skills, he just lacked the entertainment. But now he gets it and since he stated it in the interview he has delivered!
What the hell does being a one trick pony have to do with who tito beat? Everyone he has ever beaten he has done it with his wrestling/ground n pound….Thats like the definition of a 1 trick pony you fool! If you say that you think Tito will win the fight, I wouldnt agree with you, but I would respect your oppinion…..But saying Tito is not a 1 trick pony is very idiot and tells me that I am not debating with a very sensible person.
Kevin: Im an not talking about the Odss for the Machida and Tito fight, I am talking reality in that one. I dont even know what the odds are yet or who the favorite is for that matter.
I hear what you are saying and the fact that I am spending like 10 posts debating a single issue with you should tell you that I value and respect your point of view, I just feel differently than you do on this one.
In the end we will just agree to disagree!
But I will make 1 guarentee to you.. I promise you that by 2009 you will be a fan of Machida! I know you will because I thought of him the same way that you did. 1 day, I just want you to come on this site and say John you were right, Machida’s is a bad man, and I, Kevin am now a fan!
That day will come before 2009! If not, January 1st I 2009 I will take my drunken ass on this site before I go to bed and appologize!
But this is a friendly bet that I know I will win!
lol I don’t know john, by 2009, Machida may not be relevant. If he loses this fight, his boring style may be out of work. Not because he’s a bad fighter, but because he’s not marketable and it’s a sad thing, but mma is just as much a business. How can you make money when you can’t market a guy?
John, you make Machida is the next big thing…How? If he has such great footwork and a style that no one can handle WHY CANT HE FINSH FIGHTS?
David Heath(real good fighter. right)-Decision
Sam Hoger (what a beast lol)-Decision
Kazuhiro Nakanura (ok)- decision
Sokoudjou (needs more fights) What do you know a stoppages.
Vernon White(sucks) decision
BJ(are you kidding me 155 vs 205) decision
You can have the best footwork in the world, that does mean your will win a fight. I respect you option, and there is a chance that your know something I don’t…but i with Tito on this one.
…uh…that video was pretty unspectacular if not downright boring. i know its been significantly edited; that said, if that’s as ‘hardcore’ as his training gets, then i say machida wins by ass-raping. hmmm, maybe his next training vid will be better…(here’s hoping)
lmao!!! i was close to killing myself, but i didn’t fall asleep!! that fight is one of the reasons i don’t like lyoto. please tito make it a quick one!! who am i kidding, this ones going to decision…
I like Tito, he’s entertaining and outside of MMA seems like a genuinely nice guy, regardless of his BS antics & trash talking.
MMA has passed Tito by, I doubt he’s been training much up until this point. Tito doesn’t get better as he gets older. He use to have endless cardio when he was under 30, now father time, injuries, pornstar girl, celebrity lifestyle, business ventures, has all caught up to him.
Machida will pick Tito apart in boring Fashion. I hope Tito pulls out a miracle win or at least a good showing and stays with the UFC.
However, I believe unless the $$$ is right, he’ll part ways with the UFC and take entertaining fight matchups with other orginizations. He’s marketable for maybe another 2-5 fights after this.
Tito’s only shot is if he can get an early takedown and use some overwhelming GnP for a TKO. I just don’t see him winning a decision over the decision master.
I hope when Tito said he has better stand up than Machida it was BS to make Machida think he will stand with him. If Tito does try to trade with Machida he will get picked apart and probably lose a decision. There is no way Machida wins by any other way than a decision.
I was a big Tito fan, even though I always knew the guy outpriced himself. Recently however I have been a bit tired of Tito. It seems he ALWAYS is unhappy with the contracts he signs and wants a substantially bigger increase each time around.
I really hope Tito resigns with the UFC. Ultimately, every other organization is peanuts next to the UFC and it will continue to be that way, with or without Tito. The UFC is the place he needs to be. He’s got one of the greatest jobs in the world, and everything he is today is because he worked his ass off WITH the UFC.
Tito will be sorely disappointed if he signs with another organization. If he stays with the UFC he will be on top of the world. He goes anywhere else and he’s barely going to be noticed. He won’t be on PPV in from of 1/10 the audience anywhere else that he would be in the UFC.
Tito is still a huge draw. He’s right up there with Randy and Chuck. I hope everything works out.
I think that Tito/Wandy 2, Tito/Rampage, etc would do huge business for both the UFC and Tito himself. Tito, don’t leave your family. Resign bro.
Interesting point of view. I think he would be one of the biggest fishes in a small pond if he signs with another org. He’s lost his luster in the UFC.
EliteXC has the $$ to sign him if they really want to and I think they’ll make a run at him.
If Tito wins the fight, as some of you have said, there’s no doubt he will be re-signed. BUT……that’s a big “if”. Gotta give Machida the edge in this fight. Machida is a beast and Tito is a has-been with a bad back. I respect Tito’s skills, but all of Tito’s last opponents have been more one-dimensional than Machida will be. Rashad is a wrestler with limited striking and ground. Liddell (who mopped Tito up) is a striker who doesn’t like to use his ground. Ken Shamrock…..I don’t even need to go into it about Ken.
Machida is versatile—great striker, adequate wrestling, and great BJJ. If Tito gets Machida on his back, Tito risks getting subbed. On the feet, Tito will be outgunned. I don’t see Tito winning this fight, and the UFC won’t be willing to pay his price coming off this loss. Say Goodnight, Tito!
Tito’s camp sucks. He’s losing ground on all the top guys. He really hasn’t evolved as fighter which is disappointing because he was very good back in the day.
If he really believes he’s not training hard enough until he gets sick then may not be the training and drilling intelligently. He doesn’t train smart. Couture has actually said that about Tito in the past. He tried to get Couture in for the Rashad fight I believe but Randy turned him down. I’m sure Randy could greatly improve the way he trains.
If Tito loses he should call it a day. He’s charismatic enough to make great money doing something besides fighting. All his trash talk is really starting to grate though. Nobody believes him, it’s all just hype with this guy.
I think Tito will loose. Sokoudjou who he beat in his last UFC was no push over as Sokoujou has first round KO wins over Ricardo Aorona (Aorona beat Henderson)and little Nogueria.
“Using your logic Tito beat Forrest who beat Shogun who beat Rampage”…and Rampage beat Chuck, thus Tito is better than Chuck, which we all know is true and both their fights prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. I don’t see the problem. MMA math works 100% of the time.
I dunno…part of me thinks Machida will win by decision or submission, but then part of me thinks that Tito will have one last good showing and ride off into the sunset….but how often does that happen in MMA? Look what happened to Ken Shamrock….I just don’t know about this fight….
Tito wins anyways the crowd will be going wild when Tito fights… if Machida beats Tito i’d love to see Machida vs Liddell… but um Tito 1st round TKO, brutal elbows..

I love how people say Tito Ortiz would be lucky to make the top 15.
MMAweekly has him at no. 10.

Ortiz by decision.
tito, you’re going down boy!
Tito by ground n pound.
Meh
Spare me…..
The man is all show no go these days with an outdated one dimensional skill set that scares nobody.
I wish him well in his next venture and have nothing against him personally, just don’t think he can cut it against top level talent anymore.
I’m looking for Tito to go out of the UFC with his middle fingers in the air. But I’m not sure he can beat Lyoto.
Here’s another good bet to make some easy money. Machida will win this one decisively.
i dare any of you to watch the whole Machida\Nakamura fight and not fall asleep! Tito will give Machida a heart attack! lol
lmao!!! i was close to killing myself, but i didn’t fall asleep!! that fight is one of the reasons i don’t like lyoto. please tito make it a quick one!! who am i kidding, this ones going to decision…
actually you’re right. this has decision written all over it. BET ON THE OVERS!! YA HEARD?!
Overs is a Lock for sure!
I heard Danny Abbadi is replacing Machida
I hope Tito kicks his a**. If we see the old Tito, Machida is in for a long night.
I like Tito, he’s entertaining and outside of MMA seems like a genuinely nice guy, regardless of his BS antics & trash talking.

With that said, I sure hope Tito pounds his ass out because who the hell wants to watch another boring ass Machida decision.
With that said, I hope Tito destroys him in the first round. Who wants to watch another boring Machida decision?
How do I know when I am being moderated or my comment is just being erased? Is it cursing or is it just random?
GO marcus davis. that guy has talent written all over him

Umm, did they show any actual training in that video?? besides maybe 10 seconds worth??
Yeah that was like the least impressive “training” video of all time.
titos a major douche…with that said i hope he gets the W.
Machida by anything he wants…
tito will win just like when he fought vitor he had to win to get signed he knows he must win and he will pull the upset
If Tito wins the fight, as some of you have said, there’s no doubt he will be re-signed. BUT……that’s a big “if”. Gotta give Machida the edge in this fight. I bet you would… where have you been Wildman? Have missed your hilarious posts.
pero por supuesto q ganara Tito ortiz, se lo merece, es una excelente peleador q influencio a muchos a evolucionar y ser mejor en dferentes areas…
vamos tito… mexico te apoya!!!
;D
I think Tito will loose. Sokoudjou who he beat in his last UFC was no push over as Sokoujou has first round KO wins over Ricardo Aorona (Aorona beat Henderson)and little Nogueria.
Machida has impressive wins too.
2003 First round KO against Stephen Bonner
2004 TKO Round 2 against Rich Franklin
2005 Unanimous decision over BJ Penn
MMA math never works. How is a decision win over a lightweight impressive?
It just doesn’t work out that way. Using your logic Tito beat Forrest who beat Shogun who beat Rampage.
Those chains can go on forever, doesn’t tell you much about two people who have never fought each other before.
Look what happened to Ken Shamrock….I just don’t know about this fight….
uh.. i saw very little training going on there…
Man….that was some high energy jump roping there…machida’s gonna throttle his face he’ll be worse lokin then jenna….
Tito wins anyways the crowd will be going wild when Tito fights… if Machida beats Tito i’d love to see Machida vs Liddell… but um Tito 1st round TKO, brutal elbows..
TITO IN 2! He’s going to leave Machida’s face looking like an all nighter of his balls slapping Jenna’s face!
