“The fight [with Chris Leben at UFC 85] was offered to me the day after I fought Charles McCarthy [at UFC 83]. There wasn’t a single moment of hesitation from me. Not a single breath. Chris has put himself back into the mix at middleweight and if I want to go for the title then I need to beat guys like him. Chris has beaten a lot of good guys. 18-4 is a good record in MMA. He’s a colourful character and I like him…he reminds me of myself in some ways. He likes to fight and he’s a real person. Leben’s tough, has got heavy hands and swings hard and he’s skilled on the ground despite not being known for that. It might come down to who’s got the better chin out of both of us, but it could be more a case of who’s technically better. I think I’m technically better than Chris Leben. He’s quite a brawler, he’ll take a couple of shots on the way in to land one of his own. He chases people round a little bit so I think fireworks are pretty much guaranteed.”
Michael “The Count” Bisping (15-1) shares his thoughts (and respect) for Chris “The Crippler” Leben (18-4) in anticipation of their middleweight contest at UFC 85: Bedlam on June 7.

You all know where I stand, Bisping wins this fight, then has to get through the winner of Franklin/Hendo on the road to Silva. I think he can beat rich, but maybe not Dan. He’ll survive Lebens punches and may even go for a takedown. Bisping is a smart fighter, so I don’t think he’ll try to out strike Leben. He’ll train hard on his bjj and come in to this fight with a great game plan!
Kevin, how can you say Bisping beats Franklin? C’mon man,
I don’t know, it just flows out of my mouth. Here’s the thing, Bisping won’t have a big size advantage because Franklin is a big mw, but his striking is crisp, his takedown defense is great, when taken down he gets back up or has decent BJJ and his cardio is great. To say he can’t win is just dumb!
I would give Bisping an ok shot against Franklin. At middleweight Bisping lookd really fast and Crisp, while Franklin still tends to look stiff and robotic at times. Franklin would be the favorite, but I would throw some money on Bisping as an underdog.
As for Bisping vs. Leben, Fireworks pretty much somes up this whole fight. I am a fan of both fighters and I hate to see 1 loose, but I am really looking forward to seeing this fight.
If Bisping keeps fighting guys like Leben, No one will be able to say a negative thing about him. He is skilled and I love his brash personalty, only thing to criticize was his opponents. It looks like that wont be the case anymore.
ViolentMike: I will take Bisping in a friendly little side wager because I know u roll with the Crippler!
Crippler vs. The Count….I can not wait!
Hopefully they take the Rashad fight which means nothing to the division off the televised card so I can see my boy Thales Leites work Marquardt. That is a fight that actually means something to its division, unlike Rashad’s fight which has no barring on the LHW division!
there you are john..what do you think about celtics/cavs parlay tonight? celts got to come back on fire and wizards are talking too much. 14/5/are lines
John – AGREED! Now we need to figure out what to bet. Too bad you didn’t think of this idea for Leben’s last fight when you were betting loot on your countryman Sakara. Sakara had about a 1% chance at winning that fight. He hit Leben with his hardest shots and Leben smiled.
VM: We will think of something to wager!
Kevin: There is no doubt in my mind that the celtics are going to come out gunz blazin tonight after loosing twice in ATL. However -14 is a steep line for a play off game. I think the celtics will win by at least 9 points, but 14 is a line too high for me to tell someone else to bet on.
Personally, I like the parlay, but only for a small amount. Its just too high for me to tell anyone else what to do. I love the Cavs minus 5 though….I think thats a really safe bet.
Listen to this: I go to Drexel University, and every Monday and Wednesday I go to the gym and I play full court basketball with some of our players and a couple of teachers. Today, I go up to the courts early, I was the 1st one there. I walk on to the court we usually play on and who do I see? Micheal Beasley shooting around on my court. I sat and shot around with him for like 10 minutes waiting for the rest of the people to show up. He was a real cool dude, he is HUGE, and really built for a 19 year old. He said his agent is saying that the only way he wont go #1 in the draft is if the Heat win the lottery because they will take Derrick Rose. This kid hit like 22 3 pointers in a row. He was really down to earth and cool.
Awesome story John!
And KEVIN, the only action I got going tonite is for Joe Johnson to outscore Paul Pierce.
Last night Chris Paul had me nervous. Only like 8 points at the half. I had him over 23. He ended with 24. Nice.
The crowd is going to be really rowdy in Boston. If they can have to lock up either Josh Smith or Joe Johnson because I dont think Atlanta can win on the road if both those players dont have a big night!
As for my lack of posts this week and my pissy attitude, its midterm exam week at school, I have been over worked and under pressure.
Applogize for my crabyness! This time of the semester I am like a girl on her period…it gets worse come finals!
As for The Count vs. The Crippler…Man will this be an entertaining fight. It will play out similar to Wanderlie vs. Liddell but with out all the HYPE, and the 5 year waiting period.
I see a good stand up fight between a more technical striker (Chuck/Bisping) and a wildman (wanderlei/Leben). This fight could play out very similar to that fight. They will stand up most of the fight, both will land some big shots, and stun/ or knock each other down a couple times. I have a feeling 1 will try to be sneaky (like Liddell) and go for a few unexpected takedowns (probably bisping) and it may end up going to a hard fought decision.
Keep in mind both fighters have some pretty solid chins. Leben’s gets all the praise, deservingly so, it with stood many big shots from a lot of guys not named Anderson. Bisping has a very underrated chin though! He has been in many fights and has never been finished…I dont care who he was fighting, his chin has to be pretty solid to never have been Ko’ed! Also he took some big shots from 2 much bigger guys in Rashad and Hamil and I never noticed his knees buckle or anything. He seemed to just shake it off.
***Disclaimer:***I hope no one interpreted my analogy as me saying Bisping and Leben are Big Stars like wanderlei and Chuck, I just think the fight could play out in a similar way and be just as entertaining if not better because that fight already happened and ended in a decision, In Bisping/Leben, regardless of these guys strong chins, there is still a pretty good chance of someone suffering a brutal Knockout!
No matter what, us fans are in for a real treat. Leben always delivers and Bisping looked sharper than ever at middleweight. If Bisping keeps fighting guys on the level of Leben or better, No one can bash him.
I am the Conducter of the Bispings-War-Train…..All ABOARD!!!!! LOL… Take that Violentmike! What? What? I just went all cyber-gangsta on your ass!!! LMFAO! Trees got me all silly! Relieving some post midterm stress! Don’t be Hatin’ (in my best Jamie Kennedy Voice)!! lol
John,
you are right Bisping does have a very solid chin. In Cage rage he has fought Mark Epstein twice who is a very very hard puncher, he is a crap fighter but a big wild puncher. In one of the fights Epstein chins Bisping twice with solid punches which Bisping just shrugs off.
I also think that Bisping will go for an early takedown in round 1 to test Lebens cardio and take away some of his punching power.
Thats a great point about Epstein that gets over looked often by us American fans. Epstein is actually very similar to Leben, but probably an even harder hitter and Bisping’s chin held up to that. You dont go 16-1 or whatever he is now, with out ever being finished by having a weak chin.
Leben’s chin is great, but Bispings is very underrated. Should make for a great scrap!
Rich is not the same fighter that demolished Loiseau and Tanner. I thought he looked poor against Lutter and has lost some of his fire.
Someone said it on a previous thread but I think Frankin has got more to fear from the new Bisping than Bisping has from the new Franklin.
Bisbing has a good chance of beating anybody in the middle weight division(may be not Silva). I’m not saying this b/c of his last fight but rather on his track record. He’s a very well rounded fighter with good cardio and good chin. may be droping down to MW class is a good move….We’ll wait and see.
***BREAKING NEWS***
Chris Leben was arrested in Oregon on Wednesday for driving under the influence and was placed in jail for violation of his probation, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
As of late Wednesday evening, Leben remained behind bars. He faces the judge today at 3pm.
This BETTER not impact the fight. He was already on probation…
haha Rich beats Bisping by TKO in the first round
No chance, Bisping by KO. I underestimated Franklin vs Lutter, but Lutter is so fricking lazy with his pre fight routine……dam it!! Bisping takes Franklin down and maybe retires him. Good too see some US fans turning towards a much maligned fighter too. War Bisping.
is franklin even fightin henderson and if they are when ??
Silva is not god he lost to ryo who everyone now says is not very good all it takes is one so called lucky punch and hes down. dont get me wrong he is the best right now i mean he has 4 title defences well technickly 3 but i mean he still beat lutter but hey whos to say bisping cant beat him and silence all his nay sayers
Silva is not god but in MMA he is the closest thing to him. Silva lost that fight in the past and there is no way that he loses to Bisping. Hendo I think would destroy Bisping so Silva is still out of his leauge.
My question for all of you: Who will be the favorite and what will the odds be? Predictions anyone?
I say Bisping is a minus -170 favorite and Bisping is a plus 155 underdog.
If either fighter becomes a plus 200 underdog he will have great value as a bet in this match up. I would take either fighter as a plus 200 dog!
Say what you will about these guys, ultimately it’s going to be Hendo who ends up with the fight with Silva and second time around he’ll get it right. hendo can beat everyone in the middle weight division.
Tough to call tonights fight. If bisbing has done his homework he can win, but the chin and power go to Leben. leben can be slow and clumsy, if he he corners bisbing against the fence and keeps him there it could be over. I like Bisbing but I like Leben better.
This will be Bisping’s first match against a skilled striker. Hammill surprised us all with some standup and took it to him, but gassed after a round or two.
Leben is not a skilled striker, he’s a skilled brawler. But, I think I know what you mean, Leben is a guy that will fight tough 3 round standup battle. However, I see it a lot like Hammill vs Bisping. Except, Bisping gets a KO or unanimous dec.
should be a sick fight, I’m saying the count takes it if he doesn’t ktfo
Bisping is a much better all around MMA fighter. Leben’s more of a brawler, though he does possess a great set of skills. This match will be entertaining regardless of the outcome. I’d be shocked if this went to a decision, TKO via strikes by either in Round 2
Leben must win the fight in the first round, if it goes any longer than that he will gas & Bisping will get a late TKO or decision.
i hate when people say stuff like this, as if they know exactly how a guy will perform on any given night because they have seen a few fights. Dude ANYTHING can happen, previous fights DO NOT determine how a fighter will do in a fight. And even if they did Leben Knocked out Terry Martin late in the 3rd rd, so how can you be so sure he would gas?
“Previous fights DO NOT determine how a fighter will do in a fight. And even if they did…” How to contradict yourself in eighteen words or less….
Did you watch the Martin fight? They were BOTH gassed and swinging for the fences, Martin caught Leben, Leben was rocked and when he went in for the kill Leben KO Martin with his last bit of energy.
He has a history of gassing and although his stamina has improved itis no where the level of Bispings.
This is forum, about peoples opinions, you have yours, I have mine.
“This is forum, about peoples opinions, you have yours, I have mine.”
Ok, Captain Obvious,
Did you watch Leben on TUF? He was the only fighter to complete the CARDIO workout in the first episode that was designed so NO ONE would finish. And on top of that the kid did it with a hangover.
The Martin/Leben fight was a slugfest. Granted they were tired, but for Leben to have enough left in him to secure the KO is room enough to discredit your “GASSED” theory.
Leben is far too often referred to as only a Brawler. The dude definitely brawls, but his ground game is very underestimated. Ever since Leben moved to Hawaii with his training, I’ve seen a new motivated fighter in top shape.
Bisping hasn’t had a dominate showing against a great fighter since Elvis Sinosic. Charles McCarthy? Come on…the guy didn’t even come to fight.
Leben is going to formally introduce The Count to the MW division.
I was just defending myself from the guy who responded to my first post!!
Yeah Bisping wasn’t dominante since Sinosic but as the old adage says “styles make fights.” Bisping struggles against wrestlers, against guy like Leben who is known to throw leather and at a lighter weight IMO we will see a better Bisping.
Chill out mate, its a blogging site where people put their predictions.
I think both Leben and Martin had a mild heart attack in between rounds 2 and 3. Leben almost knocked himself out with that last effort KO.
Bisping WISHES that he was a brawler. Did everyone not see the Matt Hamill fight? The Hammer was winning the standup and had Bisping moving backwards most of the fight.
Like I’ve said before, if Leben and Bisping stood toe to toe taking turns throwing one punch at each other until one is KO’d, that Bisping would lose every single time. Leben has the better KO power – in both hands. I have seen many Leben 1 punch KO’s. On the other hand, I have never witnessed a Bisping one punch KO (mind you, I haven’t seen every one of his Cage Rage fights). Leben is KNOWN for having an iron chin. The only time I seen Bispings chin tested, he got wobbled by the King of Rock N Rumble – yup, good ‘ol Elvis had Bisping hurt.
As long as Leben comes into this fight in shape (and he has been since training in Hawaii), then I see this as Leben’s fight to lose.
lol come on mike, go rewatch the fight, bisping was out striking Hammel. While I had hammell barely winning or a draw, my wife called it right and said bisping won. Every time he got taken down he popped up and was crisp with his hands
VM, I agree Bisping doesn’t have the KO power that Leben owns. But if Bisping can get a takedown early or avoid those hands for the first round it will be advantage Bisping.
Its going to be interesting to say the least, just hope it lives up to the hype.
I believe if it goes the distance the count wins. Leben has shown ko power but we’ve never seen the count throw looping punches, he throws punches straight down the pipe. I have a sneaky feeling he is gonna practice his muay thai hard for this fight and try finish with knees. I thnik if he comes in using a ‘mixed bag of tools’ then he’ll win eg mixing up his strikes. WAR THE COUNT!
I definitely had Hamill winning that fight. I have no idea how your wife or the judges had Bisping outstriking Hamill.
That fight actually scared the Hell out of me. I thought the fight looked fixed. I was afraid the UFC was going the way of Boxing.
I think I’m coming from an unbiased opinion. I don’t like either one of those fighters better than the other.
Vm: U r right about Bisping not being a brawler. he is more of a kickboxer than Leben has been in the past, but Leben’s game has been evolving and he has looked better than ever, so has the count. It really makes for a great match up.
I too have not seen any Bisping 1 punch KO power, but that big punch isnt the way to take out Leben and his Iron chin. You have to took the Anderson Silva approach on Leben. To take him out you have to light him up with fast, sharp, 3-5 hit combos get him down and finish him. I have seen Big Punchers like Martin hit Leben with Bombs that his chin stood up to, so the fact that Bisping lacks the big Homerun power doesnt worry me so much in this fight, because it seems to be useless against Leben any way. however, Bisping does have the ability to land a big combo filled with sharp, fast, accurate strikes…and could take Leben out.
I dont give Bisping a great chance of KO’ing Leben, but I wouldnt be shocked if he did. I do think that if the fight goes to the decision Bisping will win.
Leben is tricky to predict. He has looked great in his last couple of fights, but who knows? He may not respect Bispings power and get lit up. You can never really tell with him. There is a chance that Leben wont respect Bisping, but there is no way that Bisping underestimates Leben….Everyone knows he has that Homerun power so Bisping wont get caught underestimating Leben.
No matter what, this will be one of the better middleweight fights of the year…so far!
will def be a brawl but bisping just seems to fast and quick at 185 as he showed against mccarthy and at times, leben looks a lil sluggish so bisping is def winning this fight as long as he can protect his chin from one of leben’s wild out of nowhere punches
Right, he showed it against TUPPERWARE, who is strictly a gi wearing BJJ guy that’s standup skills consist of sticking out his tongue and covering up his head with his forearms. Do not expect Leben to take that same approach.
As a matter of fact, I would not be surpised if this fight ended in 15 seconds or less, with Bisping getting KO’d by the first clean punch.
I could see this happening as well. Leben can knock Bisping out at any time with one punch.
The Count is much more technical, so if it goes the distance, I would give him the edge. That’s the only way I see him winning…..but you gotta love MMA…we won’t know until the bell rings!
I know that he only got a chance to show it against Tuppaware…But I think its really improved. Its obvious, we could probably even see the improvement in him shadow boxing. He looks that different.
HIs striking is not what worries me, what worries me is him striking while avoiding one of leben’s BOMBS! Thats the quesation of the whole fight.
Then again Bisping’s chin has held up so far in over 15 fights, never being finished so…who knows it will be a close one. If one is a significant underdog (in odds) against the other, i will just bet the Dog because its a close fight and if one is heavily favored over the other, the dog will have value.
My question for all of you: Who will be the favorite and what will the odds be?
IMO I think Bisping will be a minus 170 favorite, but if either is a plus 200 dog, then thats who I am betting on!
I agree. Everyone keeps saying how sharp Bisping looked. Unfortunately for me, I was layed up with bronchitis and was so sick I actually forgot about the fights that weekend. ( Imagine how p#ssed I was when I remembered!) But crisp doesn’t mean too much when there’s no power behind it. If it goes the distance is about Bisping’s only chance. But I see Leben by knockout.
Did I detect a note of humility in Bisping’s quote? Leben takes this one 2nd round (late) knockout.
Bisping usually is humble in his first interview about his next opponent, he was againts McCarthy until he called him average, its only when he gets a bit of smack talked about him that he starts being a dick.
I take bisping tko in round 2
Bisping will win Leben then Franklin! the only reason you cant see how Bisping can’t win is because your a idiot or a Hamill nut hugger.
Bisping is always respectfull him and hamill didnt get on thats only why that happened. Evans cuddled Bisping for 2 rounds and you dont hear him going on about it.
damn dude, both of yours posts are f*cked up, try making sense
give him a break man, sounds like english isn’t his first language, remember we americans and UK guys aren’t the only one’s out here. Probably a brazilian guy typing broken english. that said if he is an english speaking guy, he writes about the same as my kindergarten aged son
That’s funny.
c’mon man english is probably not his first language! Remember, we english speaking guys aren’t the only ones here!
how many brazilians do you know called Tony LMAO
antonio???
haha yeah for real lol
I don’t think Leban will gas… but if he doesn’t find the standup ko he won’t be technical enough to win this fight.
Bisping by decision.
very true tony im sick of people going on about hamil now lol i also think bisping will finish leben tko rnd 2 and when he does these people will still be going on about hamil i bet
Bisbing did look good but against who Charles McCarthy. this guy is a No named fighter i would not accept anything less. Leben is nothing special either but he is alot more of a risk 4 bisbing. Bisbing will win with a early 3rd round submission or tko. … but he would get killed by rich or hendo
Yeah ‘tupperware’ McCarthy is no measuring stick agreed. But Bispings standup looked sharp… he looked quicker and more accurate than any other 185er (obviously not Silva) in the last 12 months.
Good point, alhtough mCarthy aint great he’s still a trained professional (i use that word very loosely lol)
they made sense to me tony and when bisping does beat leben people will still be putting bisping down with the matt hamil fight again i think bispin will turn on the style against leben
yo where violentmike at?still want this bet!!!ill bet my bollocks to a barndance bisping wins this sub or decision.lebens got a great chin and left hook but everyone knows the quickest route between 2 places is a straight line and bisping has got one of the best jabs in the game.i expect bisping to pick leben apart with the jab and then chris starting to get anxious and push it and start making mistakes.i think bispings cardio is better aswell so an allround bisping win for me.all u haters will wake up after this one.
mike better save his money..leben isn’t going to win. side note my stock is up 3.50 in 3 days!!1 yaaaaaaaaaay
Here I am SCOTT!!!! I was in a meeting for the last 2 and a half hours. And I’m about to go to lunch.
But I will gladly make a sidebet with you as well. Just think of whatever you want.
The only way I see Bisping winning is by a jacked up decision in favor of the Brit.
2 1/2 hour meeting…what do you do man? my meeting today included my toilet and newspaper and only lasted 10 minutes. The smell is still lingering, but that’s another story, lol
I agree bisping has the reach advantage, if he avoids the looping bombs then he outboxes him in my opinion
i love leben but in all fairness he really is just a glorified brawler.
How are people saying Bisping will even make his way to Silva? The division is thin, but the people you have to get through are some of the thoughest guys out there. Mo way Bisping beats either Franklin or Hendo, and I don’t think he’ll even get through Leben. He’s more technical than Leben, and more well rounded, but with Leben’s chin and power, I see him surviving long enough to get the (T)KO.
Toms Bombs think about this. I would rather trade with Leben than Epstein. Epstein more power and better chin than Leben – much better. Bisping killed the Beast twice. Agree with RF and DH stance but to say Bisping cant beat Leben is ludicrous.
Billy Boy that is a great argument that has been overlooked. 2 wins over Epstein are probably more impreswsive than anything he has accomplished in the UFC so far. Not many people talk about that and it gets over looked.
Very good point u brought up! Props!
i like bisping, but i don’t think he can ko leben, so this one might be decided on the ground. leben has one of the strongest chins in the ufc. and remember leben has that “magic button” on his face that automatically makes him punch, when someone hits its. thats how he wins all his fights, with the “magic button” lol!!
This fight has fight of the year potential written all over it. Bisping, for a change, has, for the majority of it, some very respectful things to say about his opponent (the crippler in this case). Good stuff. Can’t wait for this epic battle.
This is a really tough call. Leben has been through the fire with some tough guys. He is a tough dude himself. Much respect.
Bisping shows alot of promise but look at his competition…
I think Leben will expose Bisping via TKO.
Exciting fight. I see a TKO no later than round 2. Only problem is I have no idea who will be on the recieving end.
WOW i made i few spelling mistakes! that isnt going to save your boy Leben. craig boyer – these american mma fans are fools as majority of americans in ufc cuddle more then fight. i think they call it wrestling… Even Bas Rutten wants a rule change! he wants takedowns not to count if they do nothing after the takedown. Evans spent 2 rounds trying to cuddle and make love to Bisping! FACT!!!!
Lol Tony I think they were just having light hearted fun, but I agree with your point on lay and pray take downs, and I’m with you on Bisping. War the COUNT!
WOW i made i few spelling mistakes! that isnt going to save your boy Leben.
Even Bas Rutten wants a rule change! he wants takedowns not to count if they do nothing after the takedown. Evans spent 2 rounds trying to cuddle and make love to Bisping! FACT!!!!
good fight either leban will knock him out or bisping wins by decision, but i would love to see bisping get knocked out
Leben by Terry Martin-esque victory.
If it’s a battle of the chins as Bisping says, he almost got KTFO by Sinosic, although he is 205, Leben is a knockout artist, while Sinosic is known for being knocked out.
GL Bisping, should be a war though.
Remember not to hide mma fans when Bisping wins. Get your reasons ready not to give Bisping any credit again.
GREAT FIGHT, THIS IS GONNA BE NOTHING BUT FIRE WORKS WITH A GREAT LOOKING BISPING AT 185
Leben is and has always been a slow striker with big power. If he connects, there’s a good chance you’ll go to sleep. However Leben is a poor technical striker and will get picked apart by Bisping. Problem is Bisping doesn’t have alot of power and I see it going three rounds.
Evans won the fight… FACT.
TO all the Bisping haters…You cannot say this is just another patsy for Bisping to knock over…If he beats Leben he will have to be taken seriously for a shot at the title. I also think he would beat Franklin. He did not look that good against Lutter. Even when Luttter could hardly stand Franklin gave him too much time and did not seem to have that killer instinct we have seen in the past. I think we have seen the best of Franklin and its time for Michael to prove himself.
I agree, and I think he’s ready to aswell.
Rob,
Wait till Bisping gets past Leben before calling out Franklin. (Assuming Franklin gets past Hendo).
“If he beats Leben he will have to be taken seriously for a shot at the title.”
haha why?
Maybe taken seriously for a shot at Rich Franklin.
Bisping is awesome @185! But when Leben makes his entrance with his 2pac picture me rolling getting booooed by the foreign crowd, the people at the bar where I watch at are going to be heated!! I’m looking for Leben to drop Bisping with a jab to the adams apple, followed by a hook to the ear, ringing his bell & finishing it with a flurry splattering blood on his grandma’s wig sitting at ringside. GYEAA!! lol
Bisping is back to his best at 185. He doesn’t show his KO power because he prefers to take people apart piece by piece. He has only been the distance in the 2 fights against wrestlers (Rashad and Hamil). Bisping WILL stop Leben in the same way as Anderson Silva (Mauy Tai). Round 1 at 3:45 via 20 knees to the eyeball in 2.5 seconds ………..LMAO
Leben is so tough though, he’ll just get up, put his eye back in and still want to fight
ooo nice! popping his eyeball open like cherry pie flavor gushers bursting with flavor? i wouldn’t be mad if that happens. both fighters are crazy but I NEVER root against the Hawaii fighter.
Bisping will get owned by franklin! mark my words…
ufc 85: bedlam
This fight is a great match-up for many reasons. Bisping is the money child for the UFC in the Euro market and I feel the Mccarthy fight was scheduled to make Bisping look his best and it did the trick. Make no mistake, the UFC is using Bisping to make cash. Thank goodness he shook free from that arm bar.
Leben is all heart and tends to burn himself out. If he comes out with his orange hair I would cancel any wager in favor of him winning (perhaps VM can place odds on what color leben’s hair will be?) However, if Leben comes out looking professional, in better shape than his last fight, and throws more leg kicks – this could be interesting. I think Bisping has more to lose than Leben and so does the UFC if Bisping loses. I think Leben needs to believe he is more than a side show and train hard. If he does – he has a chance. I am betting that Dana and the bunch are thinking Leben is back to his bad habits.
It is all about the Benjamin – Bisping by decision.
No Kidding – this just in – Leben arrested for DUI.
Whats he doing getting drunk 6 weeks before a fight? If he is already on probation does this mean he will be sent down?
http://web3.co.clackamas.or.us/sheriff/roster/inmate.asp?in=2008014789
If Bisping can use his technical skills to get past Leben, a fight with Nate Quarry would be another awesome matchup, and Bisping would definately have a lot more to worry about. There are some really good potential matchups in this division, hopefully someone has the good sense to put them together.
***BREAKING NEWS on Chris Leben***

As of late Wednesday evening, Leben remained behind bars. He faces the judge today at 3pm.

Hendo will beat all these guys. he will avenge his loss to Anderson Silva. it WILL happen
