Tito’s just not the same fighter anymore, and I think that was showcased in the bout with Rashad Evans.

Stylistically this is a bad matchup for Tito because Lyoto’s footwork and mastery of the distance is going to keep Tito’s shots out of range. I don’t think I’ve evr seen Lyoto flatfooted, he’s always on the balls of his feet. I think Tito will constantly have to shoot from a distance and it’s going to wear him down.

Tito is a legend, but come on guys you’re fooling yourself if you believe he’s going to beat Machida.

Joe Silva made this match for a reason, because they knew it would be a bad match for Tito. You think Dana wants Tito to leave the organization with a win? Of course not, so they picked a matchup for Tito where he would be all but guaranteed a loss.

titos gonna win this fight ..machidas never fought someone like tito. even if machida wins i dont see him beating the other talent in the lhw division. wand, chuck, jardine, rampage, forrest. machida is overrated and just because he trains with anderson silva dont mean shit to me and hes gonna have to actually beat someone worth talking about before i even say hes decent!

dude, read up on your new instead of trashing guys you only read on record sheet. Chuck was offered 2 fight options when Shogun pulled out with his injury, Rashad or Machida, and he picked Rashad. simple fact is that Rashad not only matches up poorly against him but Machida is so elusive. Hell even tito whined about getting Machida, and for good reason.

If you actualy watch the fights and not look up wikipedia for your “knowledge” you will see why Machida’s resume is so respected. Bet your one of those clowns that never even know his name until after ufc 79 when he beat Sokoudjou… Sad

I think its going to be a close fight. Machida’s a beast and I think because he hasnt fought that much in the UFC, people do not his talent. However, if Tito can get this fight to the ground, he can do some damage (even in Machida’s guard).

He may not train there every day, but his official camp is Black House. Silva is usually working his corner when he fights, and machida also sports the black house shirt when he enters the ring
