The Diaz brothers remind me of mini (american) Nogueira’s. Like Mike said, you can beat on them for 14 minutes and then they catch you in something. its truley amazing!

I do not see Condit being anywhere as close as you guys are making him out to be, he may be overrated and better then most think or know about, but that doesnt mean he can beat everyone except for GSP. I give him top 10 in teh WW, but not top 5.

john. yes nick recieved his black belt on may 10. i remember there was a video of the ceremony on this site. im surprised you dont remember it. it was pretty wild.

nick diaz is a black belt under caesar gracie, he earned it last may…he, melendez and shields are the only ones under c. gracie with black belts

i see what you’re trying to say, but i don’t think it proves condit wants to stand with koscheck or that he has a better stand up game just because his background goes back farther…i think koscheck always had good standup, he just had to actually train it…i honestly think he’s a solid stand up fighter and if he fought condit straight up standing i think he would win, he kicks and hits sooo hard, condit is methodical, but has no power…it would be an interesting fight

This is what I would like to see when the WEC or UFC sign new contracts they should sign them as a ZUFFA exclusive contract so the fighter can compete in the WEC or the UFC anytime under his contract.

Why has the Top management at Zuffa come up with this and this way they can cross promote or if they want to have a superfight like GSP vs Condit, or Filho vs Franklin (silva will not fight Filho, friends, Or Brain Stann welcome any UFC fighter to challenge him for the title! or McCullough fight some of the UFC LW’s or the likes of Joe Daddy, T. Griffin go over and challenge Jaime Varner for the title. I think this would jsut blow up for both the UFC and WEC.

yes john, nick jake sheilds and maybe one more guy in that camp (melendez) are the only 3 or 4 black belts under caesar. I know I said it before, but my wife was training there 10-12 years ago…with BJ
