As much as I’d like to see Kenny/Roger fight I hope the UFC just picks one to fight the Penn/Sherk winner. Personally I think it should be Florian especially if he Sherk beats Penn. Sherk/Florian 2 would make a great main event!

ROger’s got that charisma, you really could tell Arianna would have jumped his bones. Now imagine that interview with Kenny Florian….yeah. Can’t you see Kenny trying to be smooth with Arianna, no way.
Before this fight happens, Roger should go and visit all the terrible plaes he grew up for motivation, so he can be like ,”Fuck that! Ken- Flo has to die and come up with a better nick-name!”

The looks she gave when he said he had all these things “falling into his lap” was priceless. Her rubbing her arm at the end looked like she was getting pretty worked up. Anyway… about the fight, yeah… Very dangerous for Huerta. Easily his biggest challenge to date and potentially a huge momentum kill for him. I give Florian a slight edge, but hearing that Roger is training with GSP is a factor. Could there be a better guy on the planet for him to learn from? This could be an insanely good fight as both have no quit in them. If Roger wins than I think BJ will stick around to fight him after he dismantles Sherk. Penn/Huerta is an epic marquee matchup. No offense to Kenny, but that fight is 100 times more marketable than Penn/Florian.

Huerta is very good at what he does, but Florian is the better fighter. Florian will win if this fight ever happens.

Florian should be fighting for the belt after the Sherk/Penn bout. Huerta should have a fight in the meantime against another top notch opponent - someone like Maynard. If he’s able to pull out a victory - give him a title shot.

That’s a smart move by Huerta to train with GSP. Huerta got out-wrestled in his last match against Guida, so what better way to improve than to train with the best functional wrestler in the MMA.

And in return, Huerta should teach GSP how to recover from getting rocked lol.

I honestly think Huerta has a pretty good chance at overpowering florian on the ground, in the clinch and standing…he’s a pretty big lightweight

If florian ever did get mount, roger would have an easier time with him than lauzon did,

training with GSP - that should cover up some of rogers big holes in his wrestling/stand up and bjj

i see this the same way maynard overpowered edgar, i think it would be a smart bet on heurta since florian will probably have odds

so far i have this fight with florian as a 60% favorite based on his air tight execution, he does not make mistakes and capitalizes on the mistakes on others - if roger can minimize those holes, it might be a surprisingly easy win for roger

I think Florian has the clear edge in this fight. But, I tend to root for the underdog, and will be pulling for Huerta to take this one. Either way though, Penn vs Huerta and Penn vs Florian will both be good fights.
