dude he turned down the fight cause it was less than a month for a camp
(fitch comes down from about 200-205 to 170) and was waiting to fight at 82 cause he is from the midwest so take his size into play when your talking about how he has better takedowns than koscheck and that fitch is way bigger and strong than kos he got hyped up alot more cause the show his resting is good no great but fitchs is just better man you gotta look at the fight not as a gsp but as a smart fan and youll see gsp by no means has this in the bag

Make no mistake, Fitch is a decent fighter and he’s proven himself against a lot of stiff competition.

Does anybody remember UFC 74 Respect? When GSP fought Koscheck? How Rogan and White were promoting it as “athlete vs. athlete” and how the two styles were similiar? If anything, this fight is exactly like that matchup and Koscheck comes from the same camp as Fitch… so, he will be training with someone who knows what its like to fight GSP, his strengths, his weaknesses… etc.

GSP definitely has the advantage in this fight. In looking over some of the previous comments, I think GSP has learned his lesson when it comes to the mental game… he is no longer “a 13 year old girl in a fighters body” he will come mentally and physically in tip top shape. This will definitely be Fitch’s toughest fight yet… I predict GSP by decision.

I heard about Fitch however did not see him fight till his last one. This guy is highly overrated and has nothing to offer Gsp if he continues to perform like that. I do like the way the WW’s are throwing fuel on the fire for Gsp to feed off. Statements made from Diego and Fitch are not realistic so i will not even go there.

Please most of Fitch’s fights go to decision. I can’t remember the last time he actually finished anyone?? Most of his fights end up with him dry humping his opponent…he is a boring figher….the same thing will happen to Fitch that happened to Hughes and KOS…he will lose. Fitch’s stand up is average, his best attribute is wrestling and St. Pierre wrestles with Olympic caliber wrestlers….I don’t see how Fitch can win this…He almost got KO’d by Chris Wilson…..GSP will KO him in the first round!!!!

I know ive talked shit about Fitch before, but after seeing him on fight network’s one on one, he won me over. The thing about St.Pierre is he is going to go into this fight stratigizing on how to beat a wrestler. So Fitch has to play a game that no one sees coming and do the opposite of what GSP is expecting, like flying arm bars, flying scissor heel hooks, guillitines, etc, catch him fast and dont be too conservitive.

No worries, 2 weeks is what GSP considers, time off. I hope like hell they don’t tie up the WW div. with that stupid show. Champions should be defending their belt 3-4 times a year.
