For what it’s worth he looked to be in fantastic shape this afternoon during the UFC 83 weigh in. Let’s see how he handles the drop, as well as “Captain Miserable” tomorrow night. That was one intense staredown.

Wow… an interview where Bisping didnt look like an egotistical dickwad. Guy had a lot of good points.. Still pulling for McCarthy.. But seriously, why is McCarthy fighting this guy who has 1 loss? Oh thats right… UFC UK fan boy.

I thought that was an awesome interview with Bisping, he gained a bit of my respect. He was well spoken, and respectful to the champ. Good stuff!

good comment chad, how many times did you read me say that he’ll be fighting in dec or jan against silva??? anyways did anyone notice how ripped bisping is?? And tupperware looked fat, Bisping should hopefully come out and win it fast and in good fashion and then get the winner of Franklin/Lutter. I really hope Bisping fights as good as he looked today

did anyone else see how cut up the 185 Bisping looked at the weighins? and how much taller he was than McCarthy? checkout ufc.com. They were butting heads at the weighins and MccCarthy was barking something at him like a little chihuahua (couldn’t hear). McCarthy looked pissssssed off!! If they come out half as hyphee as the hype built them up to be in the 1st round, it should be a really good scrap!

He said he wants to take his time before getting a title shot so when he wins he can hold onto it for a long time. Too bad if he wants that he’ll have to wait a long time to even get a shot. He’s an alright fighter, but I don’t see him holding a belt any time soon. He wouldn’t have ever got it at 205 and he’ll probably never get it at 185. Unless a bunch of good fighters retire, namely Anderson Silva. lol

Well all the MWs are in the same boat…They probably won’t hold the belt until until Anderson retires.

I’m looking fwd to the Count taking on the Middle Weight Division. Once he’s smahed McCarthy (KO first round is my call, probably within the first three minutes)i can’t wait to see him fight Franklin. Franklin is a coconut, i can’t stand the guy. This is the fight Bisping needs to take in his next few octagon appearances. I look forward to the excuses posted on this site by the parochial US fans when Franklin loses. Can people not see that Franklin is an arrogant, half wit??? Anyways… when Lutter beats Franklin tomorrow he’ll have to fight an up and comer and Bisping could be the man. Or will Franklin retire when he realises that the sport has passed him by???

Da = Glass Jaw TUF3 MW Winner.
The = P4P best fighter on Planet Earth.

Look at his faced when he’s asked about challanging Anderson Silva. He looks absolutly terrified of him.

Shit, EVERY guy in the MW division is terrified of Silva. Bisping will be a good MW. Please note I said good not great, I like the guy and he should get into the top 5 in the div but he will never be able to hang with the likes of Franklin or Hendo or Silva.

He is the same type of build and weight as Franklin and same weight drop but with respect to Bisping the guys he has fought in Cage Rage and his LHW UFC fights have not been the calibre that Franklin has.

Bisping struggles against wrestlers as we saw against Hamill and Evans and although Franklin is more of a striker his wrestling would case Bisping big problems. Same problem with Hendo and Silva is a world apart.

Bring Wandy down to 185 if he loses to Jardine. (Could easily happen).

Bisping vs. Wandy this year. I think that would be good. Wandy’s best days are past him I think. There would have to be a KO/TKO.

I definitely would like to see Wandy at 185, maybe Shogun too, depending on how strong he comes back from injury. 185 definitely needs some new blood, and I don’t think Bisbing is enough. They need to find some real challenges for the Spider.
