“UFC Countdown” to 83 will premiere tomorrow night (Tuesday, April 15) at 11 p.m. ET on SpikeTV to promote the welterweight showdown between Matt Serra and Georges St. Pierre at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, on April 19.

The episode will re-air several times prior to the pay-per-view (PPV) event, including April 18 at 11 p.m. ET and April 19 at 6 p.m. ET.

It’s going to be a crazy night of fights — the anticipation throughout Canada for the first-ever UFC event north if the Unites States border is overwhelming to say the least.

Here’s a video of what we can expect to see tomorrow night on “UFC Countdown” to 83:

Man I said this was going to be a great week, but what a day. This is my 4th week off for vacation, and I’ve been enjoying the Hype. I’m a little disappointed, the more I look at the full card, the more I realize the UFC put too many canadiens (understandable) and a few good fights. I like Bisping to win in the first, and Serra to win…but other than that, I really don’t care. Not a big Ace Franklin fan, so hope Lutter submits him, but it doesn’t matter because neither one of them is gonna beat Anderson Silva…and no one else for that matter. I hope Vanderlei drops to mw, but even then I don’t think he’d win either!!

GSP will put on an mma clinic and embarass Serra into retirement.

Serra will make GSP will TAP - NOT by choice but because his arm landing on the ground after getting severed @ elbow and catapulted into the 3rd row from being snapped off by Serra’s arm bar BABY!! THATS WHAT YOU CALL HIGH FIVE!! YEAAH!!! COVER YOUR MOLSON!! :)

I heard a rumor that Serra’s BJJ only works on CANS, oh wait a minute, that’s a FACT, not a rumor.

Serra has never armbarred anyone in the UFC, and has never submitted any fighter who is even close to halfway decent. GSP will be no different.

GSP by brutal TKO, or by submission if he wants to prove his point another way.

I am not excited about UFC 83. Not at all! I like the main event, but everything else is weak!

Bisping is fighting tuppaware
Kailb vs. Quarry is UFN-ish
Danzig is fighting someone no where near his level
Lutter is not tough enough to hang with Franklin

WTF UFC 84 is still about 6 weeks away. Now thats what you call a BIG-Time Event.

I’m with ya, I’m holding off ’til ‘84. I’m glad for Canadians though, huge for them… just not for me.

This is true, i get all the events but think 84 is way more stacked and will deliver the buisness next month. the chance for serra to win this are slim but gsp will be expecting serra to come out throwing bombs so i hope he catches him offguard and tries a flying knee or something crazy to make another upset haha. i don’t think he’ll pull off the upset with punches a second time

GSP is gonna plow through Serra..and then where will all you ignorant serra fans be??…making excuses for why he lost. Let me start for you
1) His back wasn’t healed
2) Fighting in hostile territory put too much pressure on him
3) If he came with a different gameplan he would have won
4) The crowd hyped GSP way to much for Serra’s midget a*s to handle
5) Serra sucks balls, got lucky by getting a title shot from winning a reality show(barely many ppl think lytle won), fought gsp at the worst time in his life and won but he always was a B level fighter who fought good comp..but always came up short. He was never that good in the first place

..oh wait..the last one’s my reason why he’s gonna loose.

yeah..the card is definately weak but i’m a hardcore mma fan that will always be optimistic and think that just bcuz there’s not alot of big names on the card..doesn’t mean it’s automatically gonna be crap(remember ufc 80. The only time i don’t fork over $44.95 is when the card is guarranteed SH*T..(ufc 78)

No card is for sure gonna suck. Two crap fighters fighting each over can make for a good fight or a real bad one. As for paying for some terrbile looking card I am with you.

On the other hand I cant wait for this fight to be over. I am tired of all the shit back and forth. No more ass kissing each fighter. Who wins wins and who loses loses.

Once again I ask, if GSP wants to embarrass Serra, does anyone think he will try a spinning backfist?

Lets face it, the only good thing about this event is that it will clear up the welterweight mess Dana created by awarding GSP the interim title.

Cant wait to find out who faces Jon Fitch next!

I expect Fitch vs. GSP to happen between August and October.
Adding GSP vs. Fitch onto the August Minnesota card may not be a bad idea.

I would poop myself if GSP was in Minnesota, but IF sherk pulls off a win(i doubt it) I think they’d have him fight Florian, or Huerta for main event title shot. Hmmmm Florian more likely 2 minnesota guys fighting would be weird because other than tommy sucks at mma speer they’re all we got
