Gotts love Dana…It’s the truth. But a better way to show your organiztions dominence would be to put Kimbo against a more seasoned ground guy. I know Chuck has only been knocked out once, but it was way too easy for Rampage to do it. Would be a good fight though!

Dana is such a klown. He bashes Kimbo and talks crap about Gary Shaw and EliteXC but if he gets his hands on Kimbo, he would do the exact same thing Gary Shaw did, build him up against Bums and sell it to us as a co-main event.

Frank Mir beat Lesnar because Lesnar had no Jujitsu defense… If you watched the match you saw that Lesnar was actually doing really good against Mir, but Frank caught him and submitted him easily. Same would happen to Kimbo. Kimbo has an awesome striking game, so i actually think Chuck would be a good fight for him, cause Chuck is nothing but striking to. But if he faught a good striker/jujitsu guy, hed get tapped fast i think.

Would definitely sell a ton of PPVs. Wouldn’t be bad business for the UFC to go after Kimbo when his contract with EliteXC is done. Also, the UFC would be stealing EliteXC big money guy. If Kimbo can keep winning he is setting himself up to make some serious “cheese”. EliteXC will have to pay him an obscene abmount of money to keep the UFC from grabbing him.

Chuck has the same street cred by bouncing the bars in SLO and his street fights. Walking around with a mohawk and a tattoo on your head draws a lot of attention, especially around a bunch of drunk meatheads! If Kimbo and Chuck were to go at it tomorrow night Chuck has it in the first minute.

This fight will never happen. Nothing for Lidell to ever gain from it. Only possibility is if Lidell wins the LHW title, beats about 5 current fighters, and in that time Kimbo steps up as the next contender. Otherwise, nope, never going to happen.

I’d rather see Nick Diaz, Jake Sheilds, Cung Lee, Ninja Rua, and Masakazu Imanari in the UFC before Kimbo. Elite XC and Strikeforce have some quality fighters and it’s ashame they’re not marketed like Kimbo.

I’m not a Lesnar fan. But he did win the NCAA heavyweight title in 2000 and got 2nd in 1999. Now to me that’s a pretty big deal. I’m not saying he deserved someone like Mir for his first shot in the UFC. I’m not saying he’s the next best thing. He does have the tools to be amazing, but he’s inexperienced and needs more training. And who wouldn’t have turned down a multi-million dollar deal right outta college for wrestling legit or fake?

Lesnar is a world class wrestler, and he went into his first fight with a former champ and bjj specialist. Kimbo is fighting nobodys and I think he trained a bit of boxing but it never amounted to anything. Theres a big difference. Lesnar has been an athlete all his life and Kimbo has just been fighting drunks and bums in back yards. I still like watching Kimbo but you could never compare him to Lesnar cause if you saw the Mir fight Lesnar was dominating Mir and he just got caught in the knee bar. If Kimbo would fight Mir then Mir would dominate Kimbo and submit him too.
I wouldnt say Lesnar n’ Kimbo are the same, Lesnar comes with great wrestling credential, many champions and elite fighters have that wrestling background. I would say that Kimbo is way more talented than a lot of the fool’s on here believe… give him a little more time. He’ll get there.

i read this in fight! magazine when uriah was on the cover and thought it was awsome as well. it sounded like something straight out of the movies. the fact that he faked begged for his life and then knocked some dude out is priceless. it sounded like he was pretty lucky to get out of there w/ no seriuos injuries let alone his life.

I doubt this fight would happen Gary Shaw will do anything to keep his golden goose. If Kimbo did leave Elite after this contract was up then I’m sure this could happen but Dana is right Kimbo still needs to prove himself before getting in the cage with Chuck.

Kimbo is a hard hitter, but I think most of us have forgotten how much harder Chuck used to and still can punch…I mean look at the dude’s forearms, they are like freakin hge compared to the rest of his body…I met him in person thinkin the camera adds size…bullshit, Chuck is built like a typical redneck…long ass arms with steroided foreamrs = perfect KO power…I’d have to go with Chuck based on experience and his ability to KO the best the sport has to offer….Mezger, Couture, Babalu, Tito, Randleman, ect…
You may be right but remember Kimbo is used to getting hit in the face with bare knuckles so he may be able to take a little more punishment in the face with the gloves on, maybe more than Chuck. Also he will be able to hit harder without worrying about braking anything. Chuck is 100 x more skilfull than Kimbo but I think the fight would come down to who could take the best punch, and out of the two of them that may well be Kimbo. Rampage and Jardine have put Chuck down with a punch Silva did in there last fight, I am sure Kimbo could easily do the same. It would be a good slugfest. I honestly don’t know who would win.
