Look the guy up in wiki. then IMDB.com Been writing plays and directing movies for 20+ years. Puts current wife in current films. Uses same cast from movie to movie. Joe Montegna and William H Macy and J.Tl Walsh and Ricky Jay as core cast over the years. Uses staccato tempo for his actors delivery of lines. Intense, thoughtful and complete. You will have something meaningful to remember, think about and talk about after viewing a Mamet film. You haven’t heard of him because A,) he doesn’t put out films often and B.) he might not be writing to your demographic. If you have netflix.com I highly recommend “House Of Games” from the 80’s. And “Things Change” with Don Ameche (Using Don Ameche in Things Change was like using Travolta in Pulp Fiction… it brought them out of retirement in a fabulous performance!)Hope that helps! Take a bunch of people to see REDBELT. The cast alone is stunning (Tim Allen…well I can’t say stunning for him… Galaxy Quest pops into my head when I see him)

Had a chance to see this movie last week. it is a very good movie. Very good. Ending was great too, but with only about 5 minutes of total footage, no need to show couture as being a star in the movie

Yeah. highly regarded people who hand out black belts happening in a locker room. Other than that, this movie looks like it has real promise.

Max Martini is pretty badass in the Unit. He’s in a perfect roll for this film. The film is going to be great, IMO.

in the 5th clip i knew the guy was going to stand back up and punch tim, this scene has been done TO DEATH, film writters are really not original these days
