Class act, really likeable guy, should beat Jens…then maybe a move to 155 and try to conquer a new beast in the UFC??

he’s much more likely to move down in weight class. the guy’s got a tiny frame.

You have got to be kidding me…I was just with Urijah this weekend and he is walking around at 168 right now because he was in Hilo helping out BJ. He is massive right now and is ripped out of his mind! Go to Combatlifestyle.com to see the pics of him and you be the judge if this guy has a small frame. He is the biggest guy I have ever seen at 5′6…he is a freak.

Does anyone know what the odds for this fight opened at?

That is a great question, and I would love an answer to it…anybody?

As for the actual fight, the only way that it will be a good fight is if Urijah decides to stand and trade with Jens for a little because once Urijah decides to take it to the ground, he is on a whole other level then Jens and he will just beat Jens up and it wont last too long once the fight hits the floor.

Lets keep that undefeated record at 145 Jens.

Man Jens would make a huge statement if he knocks Urija out, he is well deserving of being at the top with a win like that considering his weight class if he wins he could be p4p best in his weight class

p4p best in his weight class?? I think you just mean best in his weight class pal. Pound for pound term is used to compare people in different weight classes.

I think Alex meant that he is undefeated at that weight, not 145-0.

I dont see why the UFC doesnt merge this weight class, would be an awesome addition…

I think they should once/if the existing UFC classes gain a little more solidarity. They have enough on their plate as it is, especially with the rising competition. Good to keep them seperate for now.

Because of the size difference. Right now the UFC HW division sucks. So why don’t they just merge the LHW and HW divisions together? Because its a horrible idea.

i think he was referrign to a merger of the WEC 145 lbs. class, as is, into the ufc.

AHHH, I’m sorry. I do still think that its a bad idea, like the post below me says – there is only 3 hours per PPV, and they already have 5 weight classes. Plus Zuffa owns the UFC and WEC and the 145 lb wieght class and Urijah Faber is the WEC’s best money maker. It would be pointless for the UFC to absorb the division. It would add ZERO dollars to the UFC’s revenue, and it would take away from the WEC’s revenue. Ultimately resulting in Zuffa making less money.

The only problem with merging the 145 class into the UFC is that each UFC is stacked with enough top fights already. It would just mean more top quality fighters fel they arnt getting enough air time because the organisation is too crammed so a top quality fighters ends up in some random Iranian organisation or something, just ecause he gets paid more.

i would love to see jens get the featherweight belt it would be an awesome addition to his great career…if faber loses it he would definitely get it back somewhere down the line cause i don’t think he’s even reached his prime yet

Uriah ROCKS!!!! The scary thing is that he is still coming up with new moves and shows something new each fight. He rollover Jens, then his div will be like Spider Silva, on a stale mate. I heard of talk of him going down to 135 and taking that belt. I just really want to see him avenge his loss to Tyson Griffin. SAcTown Baby!! UF Rocks!!!!! I got tix to Arco June 1, row A, BABY!!!!!
