Good match up…two losers, I’m thinking this is quite a hard fight for Kendall after 2 losses…What happens to Kendall if he loses this fight? he will be 0-3 in his last 3, ouch!

I see Grove getting the boot after yet another loss. And he seemed to have so much postential when I saw him on the show, now look at him, struggling to stay afloat in the thinnest division.

Kendall has been spending to much time being Titos new best buddy. He needs to go back to when he was in TEAM DAGGER and start training more than partying.

This is a good matchup for the fans, but for the loser of this fight, the coneequences could be severe. Kendall would have dropped 3 in a row, and cement himself as the worst winner of TUF. Two straight losses could derail Tanner from his comeback attempt. This is pretty close to a “winner stays, loser leaves the UFC” type matchup. How many more fights does Kendall have under contract? Anyone know?

I used to like Kendall, but now I’m just hoping for Tanner to beat on him. The whole hockey mask (after he lost his last fight) lost it’s appeal, and the way riveira awned him, I just need him to go away. Hey toe lock, they always moderate the weirdest stuff, I said Matt Hamill was deaf last week (in a funny way) and they editted it!

didn’t say anything was funny about being deaf, what i said was boetch was going to destroy that “deaf fuck.” (which on 2 months notice in altitude or a non altitude venue he would have). I take nothing away from what Hammill has accomplished, but why edit…because I said fuck?? That I get, I guess??

Kendall was the TUF winner with the most talent and potential but has fallen off the map - you can only assume it is lack of application. Compare him to someone like Forrest who didnt have nearly as much talent but is all heart and determination and has made huge strides since. Kendall needs to buckle down or have Tanner run through him just because he is hungrier for it.

ViolentMIke: you are absolutely right. This is a risky fight for both fighters, but if Kendall uses his range, he could pick Tanner apart. This will be a good fight for the fans, but a dangerous career moves for the fighters involved.

The TUF 7 finale, is shaping up pretty nicely.

Kevin, the opinion of everybody but you is that using someone’s handicap as a slur is not funny except in the case of midgets.

On to my actual reason for posting, Boy was TUF 3 a waste of time. Grove and Bisping have to be the worst champions out of all 6 seasons to date. Only about 5 people out of the entire cast are even active in UFC, and Bisping and Hammill, neither of whom will ever be more than mediocre to decent, are the best of the bunch. I hope Tanner retires that bum Grove. Let him go be Tito’s fluffer for his impending home video with Jenna.

ok i have two things to say…

one:
i’m pulling for kendall in this fight. i think tanner is past his prime and should consider retirement. i know, tanner is a really nice guy, and everyone likes a comeback story. all kendall has to do is use his reach and keep the fight standing. i see this one as: kendall wins by tko at 3:45 in the first round.

two:
kevin, dude u really should be saying anything about hamill being deaf. i know u said in jokingly, but really dude are like 12. i’m sure we’re all adults here, and u should respect the fact that hamill had to face alot of crap because he is deaf. have u ever thought how hard it is for hamill to fight in the octagon. he is still pretty new to the game, and he can’t get help from his corner like everyone else. during the fight he is in there all by hemself, and he still manages to do great. we should all respect that!

I pick tanner by Analation. Grove was overrated. However, i love the guy. He bought me shots at Tao in Las Vegas on a Friday when a fight wasn’t scheduled. That means two things. 1. I am that cool and good looking enough to get into Tao on a Friday, and 2. A lot of you MMA nerds on this site would be surprised how many MMA stars actually party hard even during training.::cough::tyson griffin, Drew fickett, GOMI::cough::

I wouldn’t count Grove out. Even if he loses this fight, he won his first 3 and he is only 25. He has potential. This is coming from someone who really doesn’t even like Kendall Grove as a fighter. I’ll be cheering for Tanner.

Kevin, you claimed to have called Matt Hamill deaf in a funny way. Yet your “funny way” simply had the word “fuck” in front of it. Are you still of that age where any word with the word “fuck” in front of it is funny? You must pee your pants with laughter when someone says the words “poopy”, “cocky”, or dare I say the word, “sex”.

There are funny ways of commenting on Hamill’s deafness, but simply calling him a “deaf fuck” is not funny.

You could have said something more like - Boetsch is going to beat Hamill senseless. By the sounds of it, he already got a head start.

I don’t think you can question Grove’s application or conditioning…his problem is his chin. His game is subs, not striking. Grove is tall, but doesn’t use his height. He had better work on his stand up defense or he will continue to lose by (T)KO.
I see Grove going to the WEC where he could be contender.

Thats good!! I wasn’t even being mean or anything, just stating I thought he was going to lose. This is a great forum and my point was, my disappointment in getting edited!

Does anyone else think turning down 500,000 a fight plus two ppv back ends (by Fedor) is just proof he’d rather fight cans and freak shows in Japan than fight top competition. As much as we hate to admit it, mma in the U.S. is still in its infancy, 1, and 2, the average mma (TUF) fan in the U.S. doesn’t know Fedor and/or actually believes the Kimbo hype.

B.W: I too am still awaiting the Grove vs. Herman rematch. That fight was awesome and I would really like to see who would win at this point in there careers. If they fought today, I would have to give the edge to “the red Headed step child” Herman!

this should be good for Tanner, but it is a bad match for grove. this is the kind of match that Tanner should have had in his come back fight. Okami was not the right opponent for Evan. i would have liked to see him have a successful comeback fight.

poor Kendall should have been given a can to build up his confidence again. he needs to win a couple of fights before he can think about a rematch with Ed Short Fuse Herman, and Ed has got lose.
an amusing match would have been kendall vs. terry martin . the tallest & 1 of the shortest 185ers . they are both coming off loses. terry would have a punchers chance, if he can reach him.
