This is a good card. Excitement is in the air.
Rampage will smash everyone at 205. If someone somehow beats him, he’ll just come back more pissed and smash them even harder.
Forrest with a miracle punch in round 2 takes the belt

Like he did to Wanderlei Silva right!? lol. He wont smash everyone in that division. There are a few better fighters in my opinion.

But yet you fail to name those fighters.
I think really only Lyoto Machida is the only 205 pounder RIGHT now other than Forrest that can defeat Rampage. I think Forrest is going to gas terribly in this fight with Rampage, and Rampage will knock him out.

One of the fighters I was going to mention was Machida. Another is Shogun at his best. Silva is better until Rampage beats him. And for you to suggest that Forrest will gas in their fight clearly is a moronic statement. Has he ever before in any fight? If you watch him the last thing you can say badly against him is his stamina. If you were to say he has a weak chin and will get knocked out then I may take you seriously, but to say that he will gas is really supid and I think most people will agree with me on this point.
I think that if Rampage is at his best, then he will defeat Forrest whether Forrest is at his best or not. But i think that Rampage will fall victim to his fame as did Liddell.
The reason that I say Forrest will lose is mainly based on his chin if it is as weak as it has been made out to be. He usually takes a little while to get going in a fight so he might have to survive past the first round to really do something. With Rampages punching power, I don’t see that happening. Then again, if Forrest gets the take down…..who knows? He submitted Shogun.
Mr. NC-17,
I dunno who you are, but you post on this site a lot. So your like a famous person dude. Just cuz I get on here all the time, I am saying that hahahaha.
rampage will destroy griffen in 1st round maybe 30secounds into the fight ko

I only know of Griffin and Rampage. Are you just excited bout this fight or is there actually some other rumored fights for this card?
Wish I was going to watch Rampage kill Forrest Weakchin…at least I won’t have to clean Forrests blood off me though
and other than the Frank Mir fight 2.
Forrest’s arms look terribly whithered and small there. Perhaps that is why he has absolutely no KO power. Shogun was sleep-walking towards Forrest in the third round, completely gassed and fat and both of his hands down. Still, Forrest couldn’t drop him.
and other than the Frank Mir fight 2.
Forrest vs rampage
joe Stevenson vs gleison tibau
melving guillard vs dennis silver

Guillard is going to beat silver just like johnson did. Then I would bet anything that Guillard and Johnson will have a showdown and that will be AWESOME! Think about it, him and guillard both fought rich clemente too. What do you think?
I was referring to Anthony Johnson btw.

I agree with the fact that Forrest will get KO’d well before he gasses in the fight.

Anthony Johnson vs Melvin Guillard would be exciting, but quite honestly, Melvin don’t belong in the UFC. I can’t believe that he is fighting Siver at UFC 86. I thought that he said that he was going to take some time off after the Clementi fight to get some wins in some smaller organizations fighting at WW. All he did was beat Eric Regan by decision last month at some small show. That’s all it takes for him to make it back to the big show? I think that Melvin needs to be locked in a BJJ and Wrestling school for 365 days and is only allowed food, water, sleep and training.
Forrest’s only chance is to try and keep Rampage at bay while working the jab, then somehow manage to take him down (which Lindland and Henderson BOTH had trouble doing) and somehow submit him with a choke….That is the only way I see Forrest winning. One thing about Rampage is that he always comes out right at the bell swinging wildly and out of control it seems. If Forrest can somehow trick Rampage into thinking he is going to stand and bang and then shoot for a takedown once Rampage starts swinging crazy, then maybe he can choke him out on the ground if he is Super quick about it….Otherwise I see Rampage knocking Forrest out cold in an exchange or while Forrest tries to shoot in….its too bad because either way Forrest is gonna get hit and when he does its going to get ugly
Wait I forgot!! Rampage could also win by KO via Powerbomb when Forrest gets reversed while on the ground and Page slams him….dang…Forrest is screwed.
Rampage hasn’t slammed anyone in a while. I am starting to wonder if he will anymore.
ViolentMike,
I agree. Guillard has to work on a ground game or he will be just another one dimensional fighter with a lot of potential. I would have to give it to Anthony Johnson if they stood toe to toe. If all else failed with his hands, he could get the take down, and we know he has a wrestling background. Plus I think Johnson has a reach advantage. He is 5 inches taller.
i am there, wish there was just one more big fight but i really enjoyed mandalay dec fights,

Most definitely. And I want to see it happen. Melvin whines and complains when he gets submitted in a MIXED MARTIAL ARTS fight and complains that everyone is scared to stand with him. Anthony Johnson would whoop Melvin’s ass standing and send this kid back to reality. However, “Rumble Johnson” competes in the UFC WW division, and “White Powder Guillard” fights in the LW division of UFC.

i heard him say its too much energy wasted slamming people so he doesnt like doing it anymore
rampage will have the record for the fastest KO. lol.
brandon,
that would suck if that was true. it makes sense but still.
ViolentMike,
Didn’t Guillard temporarily compete in the welterweight? He is more than capable i’m sure because I heard he is competing in the middleweight division in that other organization.
I was referring to Anthony Johnson btw.
they way johnson looked i dont think guillard stands a chance

keith jardine is the next lightheavyweigh champion. jardine will knock rampage
This is a verry good match up. i think Forest can take Rampage, but most likely Rampage will win. i’ve seen Forest take some shots and end up winning the fight, but i’ve also seen Rampage slam the crap outa people. we’ll all just have to wait and see, but its definetly going to be a nice fight.

He looked pretty gassed when he fought Shogun, it’s just that Shogun was more gassed than he was, and that was just a three round fight.
trust me….this fight aint going past 3 rounds…
For all you non-believers that think Rampage is going to lose this fight, just go back and listen to what he said after he knocked out the Iceman.Rampage is going to still be defending the Light Heavyweignt tittle through 2010.And that means whooping everybody’s ass.

He said the same thing that he was going to beat Silva for the Pride belt and got his ass whooped. Just because he says something doesnt necessarily mean hes going to do it.
