Thank You for the assists, I am like the Jason Kidd of this site lol, Just goofing!!

This is vintage Rampage! you got to love him, and he is completely right about Shogun vs Forrest!

I cant wait for next weeks episode of TUF. The great personalities of the coaches along with the new and improved Format have realoly got me excited about this season. I cant wait to see next weeks episode.

In the previews of next week, I saw a fighter catch the other fighter in a Flying Arm Bar or a flying triangle, I couldnt see which fighter it was but there are some really good ju jitsu fightersa left in the competition that did not compete in this weeks episode.

So FAR SO GOOD!

i dont know why but i just cant bring myself to like him…also the ufc champions need to have more than one or 2 title defenses a year..i say 3..every 4 months and if the fighter is hurt the interim title needs to come into place like they recently have done in the LW and WW division

Fight Bonuses for UFN 13:

Nate Diaz: $20,000 for Submission of the night

Lauzon/Florian: $20,000 a piece for FIGHT OF THE NIGHT

The Sandman: $20,000 for KO of the night.

Nate Diaz has been racking up the dough, he usually gets some kind of bonus on top of the TUF winner contract, so he is doing well financially for a 22 year old.

I thought that the submission on Batman and the showmanship was awesome. Stuff like that makes him really marketable to the 18-34 year old demographic.

Consequently: I am predicting right now that Nate Diaz will headline the main event for the next UFN. Remember when it happens that you heard it hear 1st!

‘what’s your URL??? “What’s that”‘ LOL, rampage is hilarious. someone please have this guy host SNL or put him in some funny movies. He’s got a natural charisma and is great for the sport, unlike Liddell. Greatly appreciate his honesty about everything. Nice to hear him say it was hard to be a coach on TUF but not act like he is above everyone like Matt Hughes did last year on the show in his dumb speeches. I hope Rampage keeps the belt for a long time!!!

Report: Roger Huerta to return at UFC 87

This comes from the folks at MMA Madness:

MMAmadness’ own Ryan McKinnell has learned exclusively from a very reliable source, that UFC Lightweight superstar Roger Huerta will be making his Octagon return in Minneapolis on the UFC’s August card. An opponent has yet to be announced. Let the speculation begin…

Sounds about right for him to make his return. Plus, he trains and lives in the Minneapolis area, so this seems like a no brainer. Word on the street is that Kenny Florian wants Huerta next, so hopefully the UFC is listening. Florian vs. Huerta would be a solid addition to that undercard.

Correction:

JZ vs. Akoi will rematch at DREAM 2 which is the 1st round of the middleweight tournament. The winner of that fight will fight 1 month later in the 2nd round of the Lightweight Grand prix at DREAM 3.

So DREAM 3 (2nd round of lightweight grand prix will look like this:

Ishida vs. Caol Uno

Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Luis Buscape

Eddie Alvarez vs. Hellboy (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT FOR SURE)

and the winner of JZ/Akoi vs. Katsuhiko Nagata.

You couldn’t ask for a better champ to represent your organization. With his charisma and sense of humor, he’s a literal gold mine of quotes and one-liners. Keep kicking ass, Rampage!

I cant stand fighters that look for excuses for losing fights. He was injured when he fought Shogun? Shogun was injured when he fought Forrest? It doesnt matter if they were or not, accept the fact that they were the better fighter on the day and the losers werent. If they were injured then they shouldnt have fought so that as an excuse is total BS.

My bad ViolentMike, I must have missed it yesterday. What a shock we are on the same page. Tyson vs. Nate makes sense. Nate already called him out, but got Batman instead. Now he proved to the UFC and all the fans that he is ready at the young age of 22 to fight top fighters, and I can see the UFC granting his wish and giving him Tyson, if he beats Tibau.

I dont think Tyson Griffin has ever appeared on a UFN card. He
has been blessed with a lot of pay per view main card appearences…I could see Tyson Griffin vs. Nate Diaz as a main event for UFN, for sure! Good call Mike!

I can’t believe I hated this guy when he beat Chuck, but I loved Chuck back then. Now I think you couldn’t get a better champion, you need personality and this guy has it in buckets.

Forrest I am sorry mate, I like you, but I am routing for this guy.

Not a problem at all bud!!!! Here is what I typed yesterday in the recap thread for the UFN
NATE F’ING DIAZ!!! That fight was reminiscent of his fight against Gray Maynard of TUF. He gets beat up in the first round and submits opponent in the second. This kid is ready to take on the top of the division, right now. Joe Stevenson’s win over Kurt Pellegrino, a decision win none the less, is what cemented a title shot for Daddy. So what does a win over Batman mean for Nate? I’ve yet to read thru the comments (I’m about to), but I got a recommendation on who he should fight next - Tyson Griffin. Plus Nate called Tyson out after his last win, and they used to train together until Tyson left. That is a fight I want to see. That fight would make a great Main Event to an UFN, or of course be showcased on a PPV.
Obviously he didn’t mind bumping his gums about Wanderlei. They will fight again and I don’t think Wandy will win but maybe, just maybe Wanderlei is inside of his head like Rampage is inside of Chuck’s. I think I am a bigger Wandy fan than a Rampage fan that is why I would like to think that Wandy would have a fighters chance if they fought. Rampage just seemed to adust to the rule changes and the cage better than Wandy and Shogun for that matter just because of the soccer kicks.

I like Rampage, but Forrest was fighting with a severely injured shoulder too in the Shogun fight. The bottom line is that Shogun made the decision to fight injured and apparently thought he could beat Griffin with the bad knee…he took him lightly and he paid the price.

Griffin is a gamer…he tends to fight up to his opponents level…and he’s hungry as hell. He’s also tough, comes from a great camp, and is improving every fight. On paper, Rampage is definitely the favorite and rightly so, but I have a feeling Forrest is going to shock the MMA world again and get that belt. Never, ever…count that guy out.
