He thinks he broke his arm in the first round but it got worse throughout the match:

Next fight Frank will take him down and will end it quick to set up a 3rd highly anticipated fight. Great exposure for elitexc, but they can only ride an old shamrock and old/overrated Kimbo for so long with real fans!!
Guess all those leg kicks got Shamrock a little humble pie??? Sucks that he had to have surgery but you should never ever say what your going to do before a fight and go through with it. It was a dumb move on his part and hopefully he’ll learn his lesson. Shamrock still has some good fights in him and hopefully he can be used properly against some other young and hungry fighters.
I agree Frank needs to reign in his ego sometimes but he’s a greatcharacter for the sport and is giving EliteXC some excellent exposure, expect the hype machine to go into overdrive when a re-match is announced!
It was a good fight, i guess we’ll hear more about his prospective why he lost
“Yea I was owned by Le, but hey, I made tons of money”

Not saying your wrong, I agree 100%. But did anybody else notice how James Irvin said exactly what he was going to do, and then did in 8 seconds. Before the fight he said “Houston’s game is stand up, and that’s exactly how I am going to beat him, at his own game”. Awesome
EH!! GO FIGHT NINJA RUA! HE’s WAITING 4 YOU!!
Yea that was an great fight. I’m glad that Frank is a good sport about losing and isn’t talkin shit or making any excuses for why he lost.

Not only that. Irvin also said that it was all a matter of who connected the first shot the best, something like that.
war frank! hope you make a strong come back.
Last name shamrock equals not to bright

Thats the fight I am waiting for.
I’ll applaud him for trying to beat an awesome striker at his own game, but that was his title that he lost, that piece of dumb shit. He needs to get his damn ACL fixed so he can shoot in on people and keep his belt. Idiot.
Errr… That wasn’t the rumor that people were expecting you to talk about, Frank.
Ninja vs. Frank…..
*salivates*
MAKE IT SO!!!
Frank needs to get his story straight…was it the 2nd round or the 1st round in which he thought the arm was broken?
Frank’s a true soldier wish him the best in the future

does it really matter one kick from Cung Le you’d be crying like a little girl and it probably would just be bruised

Was rooting for Le as I always will but respect old Frankie..

LOL.
Anyways, in Muay Thai you are always thought NEVER, EVER to block a kick with one arm. I believe Cung Le mentioned that at the end of fight interview. Thats because the power angle kick combined with the sharpness and hardness of shin > the forearm by a lot.
I like Frank, especially after this fight and the previous one with Baroni.. but then I don’t know much about his other fights, I must admit…
I wish him to come back as strong and as cocky as ever!!
WAR FRANK!!!
Dana is a real good business man. But IMO he needs to do credit to the sport by working with other firms and giving the fans the fights they want to see. I think it was time he and the fertita bro’s got off their high horse or they will be knocked off some time or other. I want to see how long Le would last against Silva. Just started training MMA 1 month ago now. its AWESOME. hope to put some of my theories to the test in maybe a years time. let you know how it goes
Good video. He seems a lot less cocky when’s he’s not getting his arm kicked in half.
Like the Toulouse Lautrec, though. Can’t say the same for the Creed at the end.
For some odd reason ive never really liked Frank shamrock’s personality, but after that video my view on him changed he seemed somewhat humbled even after a big loss like that( guess i would be too if i just made 250,000 dollars). But the song over the credits at the end of the video crushed my new opinion… CREED? Really Frank? CREED? hahahahahaha
He definitely sounds a little more down to earth after he got Cung Le’d

My thoughts exactly.
It bothers me.

But I rarely see two-hand blocks in MMA, and this is the first time I’ve seen a guy break his arm from a kick.

…good one V.M….I have to admit…I’m starting to like this Shamrock.
NEWS FLASH!!! At the Sac Kings vs Clippers game at Arco Arena, Sac, CA, its Olympics Night. Kurt Angle was present and was interviewed. He mentioned that he was fighting against Couture sometime in the fall, and was not allowed yet to mention which promotion!!!!!!!!!!!
I will never like Frank, EVER.

Totaly awesome! Are the Undertaker and Sting going to be present…TNA Wrestling will really get a huge push from this….
If the UFC sold us 3 B.S Ken Sharock vs. Ortiz fights that were pathetic, ElitEC has every right to milk this saga as much`as they possibly can.
Seriously, who can complain about seeing Le vs. Shamrock once or twice more? Not me, the 1st fight was a great scrap!

Im not a fan of Shamrock either but after seeing that video I think he isnt as big headed outside of a fight. I may be wrong but I think he puts up a lot of that personality just to get into the fighter head. I know im stating the obvious in a psychological game in fighting but he may actually be an alright guy outside MMA. Still, I dont like him!

Indeed it was… I just see the next fight being more of a grappling match, but who knows, the Ego may take over and stand up war part 2 is just around the corner..

Last name shamrock equals not to bright
You must not have seen the Gonzaga vs Couture fight. But I do agree with one thing, I have never seen a guy in mma block a leg kick with both arms.
He’s an entertainer thats for sure. Hear him brag about the money that they made for themselves and EliteXC? He’s a showman and a businessman, pretty much before he’s a winner I guess, but you’ll never be bored watching him thats for sure. And you know he’s thinking about the rematch right away like others have said, he’ll take it to the ground this time and most likely win, if he can get it to the ground, and it will build up a really hyped third fight. He may be a Shamrock but he’s smart, he knows what the majority of the fans want.
he and tito are perfect for each other, they’d rather put on a show than win fights, business man or fighter?

Frank Shamrock ended a K-1 fight against Shannon Ritch by breaking Ritch’s arm with a kick.
Are you crazy? Rematch? cmon, i dont think he wants more leg kicks to the right arm. And I dont know if he should be still fighting the the arm broken at the extent that it is, can cripple him for life…his right will never be the same anymore, thats for sure.
