Read the article.

I agree with him on the fighter either has it or doesn’t. I mean yeah, you can show fighters who have that thing all kinds of new techniques and they will improve on what they already have, but a fighter who really doesn’t have it, it doesn’t matter what you show them they’re never going to be that guy.

LOL at the Guys who talk to you while you’re trying to workout. That is so true, when I work out and it usually takes one hour and fifteen minutes to get my workout done and I always have a busy day (believe me, even though I’m here a lot I have to be in front of the PC for a long time) I ain’t there to talk to ppl that’s why I got my Ipod and still, ppl will talk to you! can’t you see I got my headphones on? LOL.

IMO he’s not THAT funny cuz he’s too scary… lol that fool wears a ginormous link chain, howls anywhere, and hits the bag at 1600 lbs of force. even if its all showmanship, i NEVER want to be standing within 15 feet of him…fuck an autograph. lol did you see that picture of him rocking Hendo?! jeez wtf. you would think that the supplement companies would get into bidding wars to sponsor him. what the hell is he on?

It’s all about walking round the gym with screw face, lookin all angry and shit, then no one will talk to you, no eye contact is the key…

Scope your gym out, you can tell the people who have no life and somehow manage to spread a 45 minute workout over the course of 3-4 hours and fill in the gaps by talking balls to other members, just don’t say hi to those people.

Dude I work at the YMCA, people will work out for 2 hours. I could get the same amount of work done in 30 minutes. Sadly enough I have to talk to people while they work out, so I am one of those people, but I don’t do it while I work out. Funniest thing I read all day.(Yell why you weight lift and people will know how seriously you take it and no one will even look at you, ONE!, TWOOO! TTHHHREEEE!!!!!)

Unlike Liddell who seems to just bad mouth everyone these days and be bitter that he’s lost 2 of his last 3 fights, Rampage has some personality. He is good for the sport b/c he has a funny side to him. I’d love to see him do some things like hosting SNL or other comedic shows. He’s a great model for the sport and also shows you can have a family and still be a fighter with some personality. Looking forward to TUF 7 tonite.

The problem is that my gym is in the neighborhood so everyone knows everyone. I don’t mind saying “watz up” to everyone, but I really can’t take it when ppl want to talk about soccer (there are two rival teams in my city and we’re all die hard fanatics). I wish ppl would get that the gym is to work out and the bars are made to chat.

Yeah, there is no cure for my itch LOL, I have two neighborhoods gyms in my area (one expensive and one regular price) so no matter where I go I’ll know ppl. Here in Brazil the big gyms are all downtown so it’s a waste of time.

Can this guy ever have a serious interview? He didn’t do that in pride and when he came to the UFC he must of saw how Forrest gained a big following, and wanted to bite Forrest’s style.

I gotta admit, I hate it when people sit on the machines and hog them. Of course you usually just have to ask them if you could sit in really quick and they’ll either do one more set or they’ll hop off.

I’m guilty of not putting the weights back though. Sometimes my time is better spent elsewhere. I’ve never really cared when others leave them on.

I agree that Rampage is great for the UFC. Funny and great in the cage. Hopefully we’ll get a Shogun Rampage rematch sometime soon.

JV, like John already said he has ALWAYS been like that. Have you ever watched Pride? He would even make fun of the way the japanese press would ask him questions during the press conference. I’d even go as far as saying he was even more obnoxious in japan and he took down a notch when he moved back to the states. But the Japanese still loved him, didn’t you hear, he’s HUGE in japan LOL.
