LOL, what was that about Serra taping out GSP, lmfao did Serra even get a punch in?!?!?!? lol it proves to show that you know nothign about MMA, and that the 1st fight Serra was lucky, but shit like that happends, so props to Serra 4 winning, but he will not want to fight GSP EVER again, especially in his home town/state of NY lol, tap out…… ur funny!!!!!

Diego - Split decision that should have been unanimous - Trying and FAILING submissions doesn’t mean sh!t! If you were at the fight, you know the whole arena knows who won. Hell listen to Diego’s post fight interview….even he knew!

Chris Wilson - Unanimous decision - this guy is big, long and accurate. Just because you don’t know someone’s name doesn’t mean they might not be the hell out of some these guys everyone thinks is invincible.

Now, for Karo….

Fitch calls him out after the Luigi fight in March of 2007. Instead of taking the fight, he fights Burkman, who Fitch already destroyed. He wins a decision. Instead of fighting Fitch as his next fight, he decides to fight Alves, who Fitch already destroyed.

Someone please tell me WTF has Karo done to earn a shot before Fitch. I guess you can consider their other common oppenent - Diego, but that doesn’t help his cause either![/quote]
I have been watching MMA since it started. I take back the comment about the Diego fight. It was the Koscheck fight where Diego was affected by the Staph infection. Diego was the weaker opponent in that fight and failed to abandon the take down attempts after realizing how strong Fitch was. Don’t get me wrong, I believe Fitch deserves a title shot..after all he is udefeated in the UFC. I just dont like his style of fighting..he is a big 170 and I believe that he is going to meet the same fate as guys like Jake O’brian who are wrestlers that end up getting KTFO by someone capable of doing so such as St. Pierre or Serra. Maybe Fitch should fight Hughes first to really test his wrestling skills. Then again that fight would probably put us all to sleep.

Now you karo lovers can insert your foot into your mouth. Are you blind the fitch/diego fight was a ass kicking! Diego looked like he was done after the 2nd round. The only time fitch was “in trouble” he was giving a thumbs up to his corner. Fitch is no doubt one of the smartest fighters in the ufc. He is a class act Iwish there were more fighters like him. 6 mo. from now jon will have the strap while karo is eating his twinkies whatching jon kicking GSP ass!!

I used to like Karo as a figher as he used to be exciting to watch (his fight with Diego) for example. However, he doesn’t look like his head was in the right place before his fight with Alves. He was calling out Fitch instead of concentrating on Alves.

Fitch would destroy Karo…it’s obvious at that point. Fitch should either fight Hughes or the winner of GSP-Serra. This would help to clean up the top of the division.

The rest of the 6 or 7 contenders (Karo included) should keep fighting until one polishes their record with sweat and blood like Fitch has done over the past 3 years.

Diego even said that he got beat down during his post fight interview so I guess if you think Diego won that fight you might want to inform him on that because even he thinks that he lost to Fitch.

Fitch should be one to talk, since he was afraid to stand with Chris Wilson.

GSP has only been rocked in 1 fight in his entire career, against Serra. If GSP stood and traded with Penn for the majority of their fight, then he’s not afraid to stand, and he doesn’t have a bad chin.

Why do some people think GSP is afraid to get knocked out, just because he wanted to prove a point,by beating 2 wrestlers at their own game. Do you seriously think Matt(I can’t strike a match)Hughes is a KO threat to anyone,give me a break. Kos throws wild haymakers, but he doesn’t exactly have Liddell’s KO record. Are you aware that GSP has been concentrating on his STRIKING in training? Why would he do this if he didn’t plan on using it in the fight and if he was afraid to stand? GSP will make a point of beating Serra standing or submit him.

After tonites performance, Karo is a LONG way from a title shot.

And anyone who think Fitch is a boring fighter needs their eyes examined and their heads checked. Just because he uses his head and fights to his strength doesn’t make him boring. And If you think that winning doesn’t warrant a title shot then maybe you’re one of those clowns that believe Houston Alexander or Marlon Sims should be fighting for a title in their respective organizations. After both those guys are exciting especially when they are getting owned.

Good fighters aren’t always the most exciting, thats always been a fact.
