When I was watching the fight between Karo and Thiago, I was confident in Karo that he was going to win easily BUT after seeing the ref was the infamous STEVE MAZZAGATTI I shit my pants. This is the same guy who prematurely stopped what could’ve been a TKO for Brock Lesnar against Frank Mir, and I already knew he was BAD LUCK! Guess what my suspicions were fulfilled when Steve PREMATURELY stopped the fight with Karo and Thiago after Karo got kneed.

Dude ….. I felt so bad for Karo, all these years and no title shot. He was so close but couldn’t make it, sucks for him, he was crying like a little girl in the ring and was all pissed off about the stoppage. But hopefully this will drive Karo, to ACTUALLY get in fighting shape, get some abs and muscles, polish up on his technique, and provide us with exciting and entertaining fights (because IMO thats plays a huge role in getting a title fight.)

Because Lytle does not have the kind of throws that Karo does. Getting inside on Lytle and duking it out is one thing, getting inside on Karo and getting dumped on your head is another.[/quote]

Mania, although you picked all the favorites, I enjoyed your write up on the Karo/Alves fight. I did not know ATT brought in someone to work with Tiago with Judo. That makes me even more comfortable about my Alves bet!

i think karo has got to much fight for alves. say what you want about the guy, but he brings it every time. he’s been in bad situatations a lot and he always seems to fight his way out. he’s more of the pitbull the alves is.
