Both physicaly and mentally (they make you feel invicible). Steroids are used in almost all sports that are regulated. Pride wasn't regulated. It's naive to think that fighters are exempt, when they are the ones who would BENEFIT the most by using steriods. Anyone who thinks there wasn't much steriod use in Pride is fooling themselves. As soon as a few guy start using steriods, you either juice up or get LEFT BEHIND. Anyone who has done steroids wouldn’t hesitate for a second to say they GREATLY increase your performance.
