ufc could be the best if they get rid of dana white his an idiot and we should see fighter fight more than 2 to 3 times a year and to get more involved with other mma organizations
Who is doing a better job right now? Gary Shaw at Elite? The only real marketable fighter they have over there is Jake Shields. Nick Diaz is good but he has fought for everyone already. Paul Daley looked good but he just retired. KJ Noons, but he is far from UFC level...

Dreams promo? They have Aoki and Kang that is there level...

Strikeforce, M1 Who? You all shit on Dana but what are the two best and most competitive MMA promos out there? UFC and WEC, so what is the problem. The HW division is shit oh well.

You all harp on these old ass HW who have been around since MMA's sunrise. Unfortunatly thats all there is out there. The worlds "BEST" fight techno raving circus freaks, hangs on to the top rope like an APE holding on to its swinging vine when fighting someone 30#'s less then him, and frankly has not beaten anyone with any name other then Campbells. Then U got Couture crying like a baby, because Dana has not givin him his worth. Even though he gets an immediate title shot coming off of a 2 loss streak(no favors there),he is doing movies left and right, and he has the number 1 up and coming gym in the country if not the world, because of Dana White's work and promotional skills. Waaaa life is so hard when you are doing so well. Let me fight Fedor because I do not want to be put to sleep by NOG...

Dana White and UFC/WEC are MMA, Period! They are the NY Yankees of MMA. They have their haters yes, but by and large most people who want in to a career in MMA, are trying to get in to the UFC. The Millions of fans have not been pacing their rooms to catch a glimpse of M1, elite xc, cagerage, or Dreams; everyone is itching for their monthly dose of UFC. Yeah Dana is not perfect and he is rather brash, but the reason the UFC is so succesful is because of his big brash We are the best attitude. Do you think Bill Gates is calling Steve Jobs (CEO Apple) to share new found technology? Now they are hording it to themselves, because thats what businessmen do, make money. Without that money you do not have the talent pool that 90% of the UFC has right now. Damn wake up the UFC is an LLC for a reason. To make money. They are no different then the NFL, MLB, NBA, OR NHL. all you bitch about the UFC and their contract regulations, look at the other sports, they have all sorts of stipulations, no riding motorcycles during season, dress codes, can't engage in risky this or risky that. That is the way things are, in business.
I couldn't have put it better myself, at last some reason. UFC got rid of Tim because now he is not a champion he is not marketable at all. To be honest I don't want to see old hats fighting for the belt lets have some young blood come through. AA in my opinion isn't the fighter he was (since Tim KO'd him) he is now worried about getting hit, so he is no longer explosive. Also, I would have to say he was only champion when the HW division was weaker than it is now.

You know I am fed up with Randy as well, he got knocked out by Chuck twice and walked straight through and took the HW belt and defended it against a guy who now appears to have just got lucky against CroCop. That shows you how weak the HW division is, LHW is the place to be at the moment and possibly Welter and Light. The Middleweight and Heavyweight divisions are weak in comparison. Whats the answer - bring Kimbo in??? He would last 2 seconds against guys like Werdum and Mir, let alone AA and Nog. Talking of Nog, come on Fedor you have taken him once be a man and come in and take him again, I think this time you would lose and you know it.

Give it time and the HW division will grow again with younger blood, there are some good guys out there I am sure, and one thing I have learned from the UFC over the years they always have something up their sleeve.
Randy c was right. 96% of the fighters in the ufc and wec are getting raped!!!!
I had never heard of Randy until he fought in the ufc. I can't fault anyone for wanting more money. Where would most of these guys be without the UFC? How rich would they be?

They negotiate the contracts so no one is forcing them to sign right? They have the option to not sign, and take their chances eslewhere. I don't have any sympathy for anyone who signs a contract that they're not happy with. If you didn't agree with it, why sign? Why sign!
