GSP is the biggest fucken cry baby ever! He always has to lose a fight in order to fight good , then make up bull shit stories on how he was’nt ready ! Then he just said he hopes SERRA is in the best shape for this fight because he only wants a 100% well SERRA in the ring, (WAKE UP & SMELL THE COFFEE DUMB ASS) he was a 100% the last time they met!!You think the outcome gonna be different???? GSP is going to do what he did to Kos and Hughes, beat them with his superior wrestling and ground game. Gsp has proved more than once that he is the best grappler in MMA. He will set him up with kicks and use his reach. Not rocket science just simple strategy.

it looked to me like serra’s style with the movement and angles he gave had st pierre somewhat confused. the fight was fought in the middle of the ring which benefits the taller man and serra was still able to fire some rights to the head and body without a terrible amount of difficulty which is inexcusable for st pierre given his size and abilities as a fighter. he just had an awful night that time and serra made the most of it. i think st pierre is considerably better than serra and will win the rematch, but too many people are making excuses for georges instead of admitting he just didn’t get the job done that time against a man that many gave practially no chance of winning…myself included.

Yeah … not so much guys. I wouldn’t say it was purely a fluke, but luck was definitely involved. GSP is a better all- around and he has the experience and wins to back it up. Plus he has the drive to take back his belt.

Sorry Serra. I have been 99% accurate in predicting fights. So far my money is still on George.

st. pierre is gonna get knocked out again. This is the first time I’ve watch the fight and can’t believe that people really I mean actually think that, his win was a fluke. How stupid can human beings be. Even a four year old after watching the fight will know serra is stronger, more aware of his presence and had better and great awareness than pierre. Pierre possess all the physical attributes but not necessary a better fighter. Matt is going to hold on to that title for a long long time. He’s technically sound than any other fighter I’ve seen and really reminds me of Mac Denzig

Serra’s punch wasn’t a “fluke”. According to nearly all the posters here, Serra threw a punch and it landed, therefore it wasn’t a fluke. Thus, Serra intended to hit GSP in the back of the head and he’s simply a dirty fighter.

You people seem to confuse the fact that the location of where the punch landed and the effect that it had are the things being called “lucky” not the fact that Serra was able to throw a punch.

Your arguments about intent are far from compelling. If I’m playing baseball and wildly swing the bat with my eyes closed and make contact, driving in the winning run, it’s a fluke. I am unlikely to replicate that swing again.

Therefore fluke. I meant to hit the ball, but the location in which I hit it was lucky, the fact that I made contact in that specific location was lucky, and the fact that I won as a result of that swing is also lucky.

Because if it’s not a fluke, I can do it again with consistency.

So Serra (never having KO’d a soul) lands a punch to the back of the head, is allowed to continue despite landing a punch to the back of the head wins. Wasn’t he kind of lucky he hit the back of the head to wobble the other fighter?

He showed poise and tenacity in finishing off GSP.

But the fact remains, he set it up with a punch that was either illegal, or lucky.

If you say it wasn’t lucky, it was illegal and Serra deliberately aimed for the back of the head and is just a loudmouth prick from Long Island.

If it was lucky, let’s see what Serra can do this time.
