Lightweights Corey Hill (2-0) and Justin Buchholz (7-2) are in talks to clash at UFC 86 on July 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to the rumors section over at MMAWeekly.com.
Hill — the lanky and likable contestant from season five of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) — most recently stopped Joe Veres via technical knockout in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 12 back in January. The 6′ 4″ Miletich-trained fighter will look to make it two in a row agains the Alaskan native.
Buchholz began his career with the Alaska Fight Championships and eventually migrated to warmer surroundings in Hawaii. He was on a nice four-fight win streak before meeting up with Matt Wiman in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 12 — he was choked out in less than three minutes.
He’ll definitely have his hands full with Hill — he’s a freak to be be competing at 155 pounds and be so tall.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and number one contender, Forrest Griffin, will headline the UFC 86 pay-per-view (PPV) event that also features a slew of American Top Team fighters.

So does Justin.. I’m happy he made it to the big time(UFC). I was shocked to see how fast he lost to Wiman. If he finds a good camp, I think he might be a contender in a few years.
tall, skinny elastic man vs. bozo the clown
Corey Hill is one awkward fighter, I hope he goes places.
Cory is at the right camp, they trained Tim Silvia into a title, they’ll know how to train him and teach him how to use that height to his advantage. Remember, Tim wasn’t boring in the early day. Hopefully Cory can develop his skills because he is likeable, but he’s very inexpierienced for the UFC so they’ll also have to be careful with him.
Cory might have some potential given the difficulty brought by the long frame but think that might be to stretched out. Hard to carry much strength on a 6′4″ 155 frame. May do well towards the bottom but once he starts to move up he will have a hard time dealing with more compact and stronger light weights.
I will be curious to see how much more Hill has improved.
If he can gain some skills, his Physical ability can eventually make him a wild card of the division….But at this point, thats still a few years away.
I like Bukholtz as well

I actually think Sylvia was exciting in the early days, and he has become boring since being KO by Arolvski in fight 1 (except the Big Nog fight, Tim fought his ass of)
Is that Buddy Rowe in the picture next to Corey? Because that’s about how I imagined he’d look.
I you havent seen coreys last fight you can catch it on you tube now he has a little striking I bet that it is only going to get better.
I actually think that this is going to be a good fight. I know Buchholz corner men and he fought Wiman with 103 fever. Faber and his muy thai coach showed up in Vegas with the same thing and so he got it. No excuses for his loss but I give him props for gettin in the ring. I think everyone is going to see a completely different fighter this time in Buchholz.
Buchholz was barely able to fight when he faced Wiman. As Bryan already mentioned he was very sick. When Justin is at the top of his game he is a scary sight to behold. Watch out for his straight right hand in this fight.
