If Travis Lutter was champ - no one would care - unmarketable!!!! Like Big Timmaa
Big Timma was more marketable than you might think. He was the guy you hated to watch and wanted to loose. So a majority of the people who bought his fights... bought, just to see him loose.

I got my money on Lutter. I like Rich too, but I want to see Lutter win. Lutter is a cool guy. I met him before. He doesn't have all the coaches most other fighters have, he's just a regular guy who teaches at his martial arts school and anyone that wants can go train with him.

Franklin is tool, so i hope Lutter comes of age and smashs him. I love Lutters style. He's a technician and i hope he picks Franklin apart and retires him.
Does it really matter who wins this fight? These guys are all battling for second place in this division. Anderson Silva has beaten everyone, except Yushin yet. Once he does beat Yushin, this division is done.
Franklin - 2 loses lasting barely 3 rounds, 1 broken nose
Lutter
- 1 lose, Silva wins on his back
Marquardt- 1 lose, was he ever in the fight?
Leben
- 1 lose, the beginning
Hendo
- 1 lose, was he ever in the fight?
Okami
- ?
6 fights in the UFC, 6 dominating wins not even lasting 20 minutes. This wieght class has found its king of the hill.
Yeah, because that's all MMA is about. Who is the champ. We don't care about all the other great fighters out there. Just the one guy at the top. In case you are wondering, that's sarcasm. 2nd place in a stacked division of world-class fighters doesn't matter? What are you talking about?!
3 fights in the MW division I'd like to see:

Franklin vs. Hendo
Marquardt vs. Lutter
Okami vs. Leben (Okami is usually boring but Leben will get in his face)
Nice matchups. There are still lots of good fights to see at MW. Just because they are not championship fights doesn't change that.

I think most people want to see Franklin vs Henderson. If Franklin was to win then the Middleweight division would really be lost. I mean could anyone really see Rich beating Silva!? And waht would happen to Henderson if he lost again. 0-3 in UFC would most probably be the end for him. Could be interesting few months for this division.

Never said it was going to happen, just that there are articles out there stating it. Hendo said he would not move down either. Look where he ended up.
I think Rich decisions Travis. 3 fights in the MW division I'd like to see:

Three great fights, I would still like to see a Hendo vs. Silva and Lutter vs. Silva rematches to that list. Someone already said that Luter has come the closest to beating Silva and I think he can game plan better to make it to at least the 2nd to 3rd round. I am still thinking Hendo can make this fight better than his last one with Silva.
Silva is one tough dude and I would never bet against him, unless he was fighting Randy or Brock...maybe not even Brock.

how can you even compare lutter to silva? man what have you been smoking? i want some. lutter is a boring fighter and does not stand a chance. everyone was talking about his submissoin skills and looked want happened he got submitted by silva. yea i don't agree with one guy who said he doesn't talk bs. a fighter has to say he can win the fight otherwise he would never get payed to fight. so he does talk alittle bs. and everyone else talks alot of bs. joe rogan talks the most he acts like he knows it all but he sound like an idoit on ppv's. i rather listen to randy talk but the ufc wrecked that for us. and that mike guy just reads a paper that tells him what to say or he listens to joe. they piss me off so much during the ppv's i wish you could have the choice of have them talk or not. cause i would choice to not have them talk. but thats just me. i have my own brain thank you very much. i don't need 2 retards to tell me what is happening. i got eyes i can see for myself. and they're wrong most of the time cause they only see what they can see from where they're sitting. but i got camera angles. so please please joe and mike quit your job and let someone who knows the sport have it.
I understand your thought process but it IMO is wrong because.........Silva is going to leave the division. These fighters realize that and they are fighting for slots #2 and #3 that will turn into #1 and #2 once Silva bolts for GSP or 'Page depending on where you think he will go next; up or down in weight as I have read both directions.

If he would get beat and decide to come back to the MW division, then whoever is champ better grab the wife and the dog and head for the hills!
Duedes get in in your thick skulls that silva, will never omve down to 170 lbs. He said it a million times already. If he were to switch weight classes it would be to light heavyweight.

So y dont you all stop wating your time by talking about GSP vs. Silva because it wont happen, ubless GSP moves up to 185 lb, which won happen anytime soon because GSP isnt even champion right now, and he has NEVER successfully defend te title.

GSP vs. Silva wont happe at least not for another 3 years. however, GSP vs. Liddell at 205 is a possability, as is Anderson vs. wanderlei at 185. lbs.

All those other theories ar pimpe dreams. These are the only 2 match ups involving Silav and fighters in other weight class.

1 more possability to Silva vs. Matt hughes at 185 lb, but I doubt that as well.

I promise you all that GSP wont be fighting Silva any time with in the next 3 years. GSP vs. Penn 2, will be a real possability, but sorry to say Silva vs. GSP is a pipe dream! so we might as well stop talking about it!

Corection:
GSP vs. Silav wont happen, at least not for another 3 years. However Silva vs. Lidell at 205 is a possaiblity, as is Anderson vs. Wanderlei at 185 lb
