It would be so amazing to train with Xtreme Couture. I wish you didn’t have to be a professional to get in there. they should have lower levels for people who want to get better so they can have good professional records!

So far it looks like they are recruiting heavily from Europe.

*Melvin Manhoef will not be fighting in the dreams mw tournament due to the fact he is fighting in a k-1 kickboxing ruled event.

Karl Amoussou 6-1 France
Zelg Galesic 7-3 Croatia
Arman Gambaryan 15-4-1 Russia

Mania, the article I read stated that NBC might air a Strikeforce show before CBS airs EliteXC in May. Interesting, it looks like STrikeforce is trying to out manuever EliteXC when they actually co promote events together.

I would really like to see the UFC sign a deal with FOX to shut all these organizations up!

**fedor Close To Signing With Ufc???***
http://www.mmafightline.com/news/200…o_318666.shtml

Sources close to negotiations between the UFC and Fedor’s management have informed MMAFightline.com that the two sides are currently discussing a possible one fight deal that would bring Fedor to the cage, presumably to face Randy Couture.
It is unknown whether Couture would end his lawsuit and come back to the UFC to face Fedor if the UFC were able to offer such a fight, but Couture has stated on numerous occasions that this is the only fight that makes sense at this stage of his career.

It should be noted that nothing is eminent at this point and negotiations are in the general discussion phase. If made, however, the deal would be unprecedented. The UFC is notorious for locking up fighters in long term deals and not allowing them to leave as champions. We’ll have more on this story as it develops.

They have beginner classes, as you progress you would be allowed to move to higher level classes. it would be a lot of money to spend on a hobby; unless you plan to go pro.

Yeah yeah i know its unlikely that the fight would end so fast but it is possible and would be halarious. Anyways Fedor vs Barnett will be pimp if they finally do it that will be the real shit right there.

Biggest fight in MMA history? (Debate) I know what you’re saying, but after all the bashing Randy has taken on here with his fight record etc, and the fact that he should really fight Nog first to claim Fedor is his ONLY challenge, is this really the biggest fight in History? Or just over-hyped because of all the BS?

As that fight hasn’t happened yet (Randy Vs Fedor) and isn’t even on the cards (no pun intended)…To date…What would you all say has been the BIGGEST fight in MMA up to this point?

Lidell / Silva?
Hendo / Spider?

if it is a 1 fight deal i hope it is for 5 rnds, a special legends match sorta thing. it cant be for the title cuz randy would have to beat nog first and dana would never sign a 1 fight deal for a title belt. i agree though that dana does need to make this happen if possible. this fight belongs in the ufc.

Toelock: THats a great question with no clear cut right answer: I would say the biggest fights to take place in the UFC have been:

Rampage/Hendo…. 1st ever Unification match between Pride and UFC

Hendo/Silva

Liddell/Silva

Liddell/Rampage (the UFC fight)

Man thats a great question and its very tough to answer because certain fights were huge in there time. For example Chuck’s fights vs. tito were huge but now they dont mean much

When Randy unified the title back in the day by beating Tito and literally spanking him on the ass…That was a really big fight

All 3 Couture vs. Liddel fights were Huge.

BJ Penn moving up a weight class and beating Hughes was a really big fight as well.

Question: what do u think is the biggest Heavyweight fight to take place in the UFC?

If Randy is serious about only wanting to fight one last time, then Randy is going to have to forefit his title officially fight Fedor and then win or loose, ride off in to the sunset.

The 1 fight deal scenario would work out if Randy gives up his belt because win or loose Fedor wont have a title. It gets really tricky if Randy decides that he wants to fight Fedor and then continue fighting in the UFC because Dana wont risk Fedor taking the title from Randy and then walking away. Then again, it would be no different than right now, when Randy walked away from the UFC with the belt anyway.

I know Dana is against 1 fight deals, but he is going to have to
make an exception this time. Get Fedor in the Octagon, who knows he might really like Fighting in the UFC and maybe it will make negotiating a new deal easier. It really shouldnt matter though, Dana has a chance to get this fight in the UFC and do it soon. 2 months ago it looked like this fight might happen outside of the UFC and that would be tragic for the UFC and we would probably have to wait until 2009 to see it happen. If they get a fight deal done with Fedor we could see this fight as early as August probably! The more time that passes, the older Randy gets and it diminishes any chance of even beating Fedor. Not that I expect Randy to beat Fedor anyway, but I guess if there’s one man to flourish in the underdog role and pull of the upset it would have to be Randy.

I actually think Barnett would have the best shot at beating Fedor out of anyone, but unfortunatley I doubt we will ever see him in the Octagon again!

im a little late in this comment, but it just hit me. technicly fedor is still the pride hw champ, so they could fight for that title if need be. kinda like when hendo fought rampage and a. silva w/ the pride belts on the line (supposedly). it could work though to make it a 1 fight 5rnd championship fight. no matter who wins both could actually ride off into the sunset or change orgs.
