I cant believe this cheesy version of the karate kid, managed to land such a great actor has the African dude from Gladiator that BANGS kimora simmons brains out!

This is not a real MMA movie. That’s all I got to say on that.
Most of the moves seem Capoeira realted any way.

That was a lame scene with some lame acting. This movie won’t last a month in theaters.

Should I feel dirty for thinking that this movie will be stupid but that I will watch it anyways?

The best scene ever in any Karate kid movie was from Karate kid part 1 when Mr. Miagi was getting all drunk because it was the aniversity of his wifes death. Drunken Miagi was a priceless scene in motion picture history! So damn funny!

This is going to make the sport of MMA look terrible.

i’m probably going to go see it. from the sounds of it, they had some decent MMA guys working with teh actors on the fight choreography. i’ll just make sure to shut my brain off before i go in and enjoy the over the top MMA action that we’ll never see in real life. the same reason why i enjoy wushu old school jet li movies, yeah the martial arts is far from realistic, but it doesn’t make it any less fun to watch.

I would have to admit that Jet Li’s Fearless was amazing!

that was pretty good. you want to see something amazing, get Legend of the Red Dragon, or my personal favorite “fist of legend”

it looks like mma version of 2 fast 2 furious, just not as good. it probably would have gone straight to video if not for the recent explosion of mma. hell it probably wouldn’t even had been made.

couldn’t they get some real fighters in the movie? i’m sure a lot of them would act.

Yep. Legend of the red dragon is more wire-fu and over the top, whereas “fist of legend” really shows Li’s versatility as a martial artist.

This does look a bit “cheesey” a some might say. However, any fan of mma will and should support the movie. If for no other reason, helping mma go mainstream.

Well it’s hard to remember good sport related movies anyway.
When the sport comes bigger, everybody wants part of it and the results are bad. As always it’s about money. Have you seen the Formula1 movie The Driven with Stallone? Or those Mighty Ducks series? All that college basketball scheiBe. Them suck.

Many fighting movies doesn’t have really good story, but if the action is good then it’s worth to watch.
