Have a think about this one guys. Dana and Randy both have their tails between their legs. They both regret the recent debacle over Randy’s contract and departure and will never back down because of their pride and public srcutiny.

Getting Fedor to the UFC gets them both out of jail as both can say:

Dana - ‘we are doing this because the fans want it’
Randy - ‘I am only returning to fight Fedor’

Either way, I can not wait to see this fight, it will be awesome just to know who would win. I would also love to know how much the UFC paid M1 to break the contract

If Randy came back would the title go back to him or would big Nog retain it? If Big Nog still had it, then would Randy have to fight him before Fedor, assuming Fedor signs with the UFC or what?

AJ: Technically speaking Randy would have to fight BigNog (just like Sherk v Penn, Randy v Ortiz) however, these are exceptional circumstances and I think Randy v Fedor, BigNog fights the winner.

As much as I like Randy, I got to go with Fedor. But hell this fight will probably never happen. Let’s just hope Dana quits pissing off all the fighters.

Hmmm i’d say this is all a ploy to get Couture to lose so Fedor wont have to fight him. Couture Cannot fight Fedor if Fedor goes into the UFC because Big Nog has the interium title which means he gets the first shot for sure(even doh im sure people will try and argue that Fedor has the old pride belt). With that being said Couture has to beat big NoG GL at that.

Randy does want to fight but as of now it looks like hes losing the legal battle. So this would work out well, he(fedor) fakes that he wants to join the ufc and then all the charges vs Couture get dropped. Fedor is a great guy i could see him doing Randy the favor.

I could of course be 100%wrong but yeah not much reason for Fedor to come to UFC ATM unless he wants an easy win vs Big NoG which would make sense because reguardless of where you put those 2 to fight Fedor will win 10/10 fights and he could then then leave(assuming he can get a one fight contract) and continue to fight cans and be #1 forever and ever, not that he would fight can after can. Oh man for the love of god let this happen!!! I think Fedor is good but I would love to watch Randy beat him. After that I would love to see Arlovski get re-signed and fight Fedor. It would be tough test for Arlovski but I think he could do it if he brought his A game. Fedor is good but not as good as everyone thinks he is. Interesting I heard Randy today on Bubba the Love Sponge. He made it sound as if he would still need to renegotiate his contract got to make the big bucks. He made a lot of sense. Now Fedor could probably be signed at a lower price and the UFC will offer to drop the lawsuits against Couture if he fights Fedor at a reasonable price. Good question! With all the endless hype over this fight I don’t see how in the hell the UFC could let Nog fight Randy for the belt first. So ya gotta believe Randy would still be the champ and it would be on the line vs. Fedor, then Nog would have to wait for the winner. All randy has to do is cut fedor then hug him for 2rounds and finish him kinda like he did vs Gonzaga with the illegal blow. Fedor cuts EASY that is his problem in a cage everyone will look to take him down and cut him, of course if they suck at JJ they will find themselves wondering why their arm is broken or why they just woke up with people talking over them.

What the hell? I never would have expected this. As much downhill as the UFC HW division has gone the past few months, I thought it would be impossible for anything good to happen in the near future. Only a wrestler would be able to beat Fedor, and a flawless one at that. I dont know if Randy is young enough or strong enough to beat Fedor in his prime. It’s possible, just not likely. I wouldnt be surprised if they have Randy’s odds at 200. You pretty much have to have the perfect gameplan and execute it to perfection if you want any shot at all of beating Fedor, the only man capable of that is Randy. I just see Fedor as too strong, too quick, and too agile to be beaten by a 45 year old man.

I think this would be one of the most even match-ups in the history of the sport. Both are strong in every area. Neither have any glaring weaknesses. Both have an aura of invincibility. Definitly the makings of the match of the century.

Only way Fedor is losing is by Doctor stopage because of his frail skin.

I think any of the Top 3 guys in the UFC HW division would take Fedor in his first fight in the cage. The Octagon is a big obstacle to climb and most of the PRIDE fighters have had a really rough transition into the UFC. I think Big Nog, Herring and Randy would all beat his ass in the cage until he gets acclimated with it, but then he will probably do to that division what Silva is doin at 185 right now.

He’s not undefeated, he lost in his early days due to a cut from an elbow. It was an accident and at the same time elbows were illegal so it should have been a NC or a win for fedor… stupid refs
