I wish the UFC had made a little-bit of a better card then this..

Can’t wait for my boy GSP to take that gold back.

Man, I’m going to make some $$$ on this fight! I still don’t understand why Serra is such an underdog. Did the odds-makers not watch their last fight? It’d be different if GSP dominated Serra and just got caught. But Serra dominated GSP. He’s got GSP’s number, I think.

Yeah the card overall is pretty lame when you look at 82 and 84 but there are a lot of Canadian fighters so that’s a nice touch. I wish there were more fights that actually meant something to their respected divisions other than the main event. I can’t complain too much cause I have deadly seats to watch my first ever UFC event live. I don’t care to see Bisping and it makes me sick that his face is on some of the posters for this event. It’ll be worth the money if I can see Bisping get KOed by the Chainsaw but that’s not likely to happen. I hope Stout puts on a good fight as well…I think his stand up is way better than Clementi but Stout has to stay off his back.

GSP is going to come in more centered and dedicated than he has ever been. I like Serra and I think he’s a solid fighter but I think this new version of GSP is going to not only win…but win in devasting fashion.

Also…I don’t think Fitch proved he can hang with GSP with his latest performance. He’s not going to take down GSP with that kind of wrestling. I think if Karo finishes his next fight that he may get the shot over Fitch.

McCarthy’s nickname is not “Chainsaw”…He just changed it to Charles “Tupper Ware” McCarthy….well VM changed his nickname, but I like it better..

One step below a can = Tupper Ware…

GSP is in a zone right now, there will always be the posability that he can lose but it will take one bad man to do that. I can’t stand Serra he thought people would rally behind him when he was talking shit about Hughes. He should first try to accomplish just a little bit of what Hughes has and then talk.

As for Gaydor oh I mean Fedor he will never come to the UFC because theres a chance he could lose. To much Elite talent in the UFCs HW division. He will sign with maybe Dream or even maybe Elite XC I mean think about it there HW division only has Kimbo & forgot his name ( big foot ) Silva I think. So Fedor will go where he can continue to fight B level fighters and keep winning.

I see Okami getting the title shot against Anderson, and with a win, Rich Franklin fighting Dan Henderson.

I will agree that at UFC 82 Fitch did not show that he could beat GSP. I love Fitch and GSP but GSP when focused is a complete MONSTER for anyone at 170lb. No matter what Karo does vs. Alves (I predict Alves wins) Dana already awarded the next title shot to Fitch at the post UFC 82 press conference. I am a big Fan of Serra’s, but I would have to agree with you that the new FOCUSED and stronger GSP will do something really Nasty to Serra. I feel bad because I love Serra, but I see him getting hurt. KO style! GSP is vindictive, and I love it! After he KO Hughes in their 2nd fight, he could have easily stood up with him and KO Hughes again in the 3rd fight. Instead in their 1st fight hughes outwrestled and submitted him, so GSP wanted to pay him back and outwrestle and submit Hughes in the 3rd fight. and thats exactly what he did.

Serra KO GSP really bad. It was one hell of a highlight and 2 this day it GSP has to be embarressed by this. Thats why i think GSP is going to come out against Serra, not go for any takedowns, stand and Punch/Kick/or Knee Serra’s Head off! its goingt o be ugly.

We might see the words FATALITY covered in blood show up on our TV screan while background goes all black and Dark….and Serra might Die in horrific fashion.

Once again, I absolutely Love Serra, but he is in Big Trouble come April, especially in GSP’s home town….YIKES!!!

I agree! After Franklin disposes of “Fatboy” Lutter, this is the only logical fight for Henderson at 185 lb. Only other route I can see him going is a Rubber match with wanderlie, that Wandy is dying for!

After this joke of a fight against Tuppaware or ziplock or whatever u want to call that fool, Bisping has to fight at least a Leben or Cote, but knowing the way his career has gone,I wont be surprised to see him face Sakara next! This fight against McCarthy is the last pass he gets from me, Fight somebody decent….or go away!

I would seriously consider training and trying out for the UFC if I knew I could become a star, headline main events, get PAID and always be on TV all by fighting maggots like McCarthy, Sinosic and Ravishing Red….I mean come on and challenge yourself against someone! Bisping hit the UFC lottery, but his fans are starting to turn on him…time to fight someone decent or he will have less fans than Tim Sylvia!

LOL I don’t think so buddy, ever see a fight other than serra/gsp 1??? Gsp got caught, and will destroy serra this time around, a fool soon parts with his money and you my friend are a fool. Do me a favor and watch gsp/hughes 3 and serra/lytle for some perspective, serra got extremely lucky, he needs lightning to strike twice to win again, won’t happen.  I’ll say it again ” 1 F**KING FIGHT MEANS F**K ALL” Anyone can get caught, serra and gsp were even until gsp got hurt, gsp will smashed serra this time around, serra won’t make it to the third round.

Welcome to the Great White North to the UFC and fans from the US and around the world.
We’re really pumped to host our first UFC event in Canada.
Of course MMA is not new to us. A lot of fans here.

Fight predictions… feel free to reply with yours…

*Matt Serra wins over GSP by rear naked choke in rd. 1
Matt Serra is THE most under-rated fighter in the UFC. Serra was well on his way to a title shot when he ran into Shonie Carter’s “Hail Mary” spinning back fist. A couple tough fights following against BJ & Parisian derailed his momentum. The appearance on TUF reingigorated his career, and he is not going to let GSP take it all away now.
*Travis Lutter over Franklin by submission
Franklin has nothing to answer Lutter’s ground game and will suffer a humiliating defeat here.
*Quarry by TKO over Starnes
All Quarry has to do is punch him in the gut…he’ll quit, like quitters do.
Never seen such a display of cowardice in MMA. As soon as the fight is not going his way, look for Starnes to find a way to get out with out getting hurt (poor baby).
*Bisbing over McCarthy. TKO
Bisbing is over-rated, but as long as the UFC is making inroads into the UK market, they need British content.
That’s why they’ve givin him this cakewalk.
*Danzig (close)decision over Bocek
Danzig will have his hands full with Bocek. This could be the highlight fight of the night.
*Sam Stout WILL beat the snot out of Rich Clementi KO. Sam has fought WAY tougher guysthan Rich. I like Clementi, but he’s in way over his head in this contest.
*Belcher by stoppage over Day
*McDonald over Doerkson YET AGAIN!!!
*Herman vs Maia
This could be an upset. Maia is unbeaten and could present a real challange to Herman. I’m picking Maia.
*Goulet’s a stiff, but they’ve givin him another stiff to fight. Look for him to eat a big shot and wake up with a crowd around him

I agree. We wouldn’t even be talking about serra if he didn’t beat gsp. I know that’s a huge deal because he was an underdog, no-one gave him a chance to win (including me) and he got the belt but it’s pretty sad his only accomplishement in mma is beating 1 top guy and i don’t wanna hear the crap about all his close fights because close isn’t a win. He never finishes a fight despite the fact he’s a bjj black belt. On any given night, if the right shot is landed you can knock a fighter out, hell even hughes could probably do it. If serra’s hands are so heavy, how come he only has one t/ko?
