First off Cuban doesn’t have a half the financial backings that Dana does, the fertitas are much richer than cuban, however dana has to go… he is slowly putting MMA back in the stone age, he opens the door and lets another organization jump in first. Dumbas$

Can a person enjoy the NBA (professional, top tier basketball, best in the world)

I have HDNET, SPIKE, Showtime, Versus,IFL, and I watch ALL of the MMA and the same way UFC has some dud fights, so does Elite, but the same way UFC has some classics so does HDNET.

Dont be a brand name,high brow diva, if you enjoy MMA you enjoy it not matter who is fighting.

No UFC is my FAVORITE….but I still enjoy ALL MMA, just like The Packers are my FAVORITE team but I love watching the Badgers and some good high school football as well!![/quote]

To all the people blaming Dana or the UFC for this, it honestly has nothing to do with them. EliteXC is on Showtime, a network CBA owns and has already been mining for content during the writer’s strike (Dexter, Weeds and perhaps Californication). It makes sense that if CBS wants MMA they would go for EliteXC first. At the same time I agre with the idea that EXC is not the promotion that I would recommend for people new to the sport to watch first. Hopefully this doesn’t turn people off to MMA in the long run and it does turn out to be a positive.
