Hes not very good right now. Hes seems to like what hes watching and is very into it. I can see him over time relaxing a bit and getting better at it. Its really funny right now to have him tripping over his words or just plain not knowing what hes saying. Luck to him but it might have been better if they actually got someone who knew what they were talking about.

He seems better in the after fight interviews. All I have to say is the EliteXC is lucky to have Mauro.

bills not that bad, agree mauro calling the fights is classic, when the action picks up he will cut off his colleuges in a heart beat I used to get a kick out him cutting of trigg time and time again.

Mauro ain’t no prize, either. Forget about past performance, Mauro is nothing but a hype machine now. But Goldberg makes Emmitt Smith look like a toastmaster.

The difference between goldberg and rogan is simple. Rogan actually has a martial arts background and knows what he is talking about.

did anyone watch the event and notice how degrading they were to the fighters that lost? i think the comment after james thompson was “and we learn that his chin is just like cinderella’s slipper” or something to that effect, i could not believe how mean they were, now i believe what nick diaz has to say about them being fake.

Best commentator is by far Bas Rutten then joe rogen the guy who works with joe rogen and that guy that was in the middle of goldberg and crappy other guy.

I thought the card had great fights, but the production especially the commentating was terrible.

Mike Goldberg should learn more so he knows better what he is talking about. He does though have a good sense of timing, and knows when to go to Rogan.

Besides, Mike Goldberg is play by play, Bill is the color, I know Quadros is also. Goldberd tries to be funny, and isnt. He also lacks serious knowledge about the sport.

Quadros is good, but he does look a little wired.

I was actually immpressed by goldbergs post-fight interviewing of the fighters. I think he had good energy and was very pleasant and respectful to the fighters. I was imppressed with the overall production of the elite xc show, anouncers included. I like Renallo too, but he has way too many jobs on the fight network! Joe Rogan is still the voice of ufc, but he does need to lay off the drugs, at least a day or too before a live show.

I have never liked Goldberg as a commentator. He doesn’t seem to know anything about MMA, and he is a dick to the fighters in the post-fight interviews.

i think that bill goldberg is a bigger name than brock lesnar, he was huge in WCW, if he were to fight in elitexc that would bring alot of sponsors to it also and elitexc would get alot of hype over this, i think eventually we are gonna see alot of wrestling stars go to the mma in the near future.

Few wrestling stars have elite competitive backgrounds the way Lesnar has with his Div 1 wrestling championship. Very few wrestlers would be able to even reach Kimbo level without very, very hard work.
