You’ve got to be kidding me.

This latest announcement means that there are 12 fights booked for the UFC Fight Night 13 SpikeTV special on April 2 at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield. Colo.

The rumor is he’s taking on Jeff Cox (9-4), according to ProKarateWeekly.com.

Oh yeah … and Fightlinker’s plan to get this turned into a three hour broadcast apparently worked. Thanks to them and the readers here who made it happen.

He is another clown. Nate Diaz is fighting a beast like Pellegrino and Manny is fighting Jeff “WHO?’ Cox?

Looks like Diaz is following in his brothers foot steps and Manny is following his cousins (Karo) footsteps, Taking the easier fight!

Props to Diaz, for calling out the top competition, and then backing it up by accepting a fight agaionst Pellegrino. Win or Loose, Diaz gained much respect for stepping up!

Bisping take notesa, you are a 30 year old man still fighting Tuppaware…..Diaz is only 23 and he already wants to take on the world!

12 fights on one card has to be a UFC record. Those people in Denver are being given a hell of a treat.

What did the UFC give me and the rest of my Tri State brothers? Oh Yeah thats right….we got to see the MEGA MATCH between Bisping and Rashad! lol

Fair?

John,
I hear you man…that card (UFC 78) was hyped up to be more than what it was. The 2 main events should’ve been the undercards.

To me Manny’s fights are boring He gets good position and holds it. I know on his offical record he only went decision twice but on tuff he just held his opponents down.

UFC 78 DVD comes out Tuesday. I bet you it will sell about 8 copies. I dont even remember that event having any exciting undercards. The UFC came to the tri state area, gave us that crappy event….and since then there have been all amazing events….Show us the LOVE already!

yeah, Bisping is such a joke, but he will still go on running his mouth…..how he beat Hammill and how he can beqt anyone in the MW division.

It is funny though most of the people he fights are now WW’s that cant even make it in smaller shows or 1 dimensional fighters or very out of shape(Rashad)

He wants to be like some boxers today. They have 40-0 record becasue everyone they fight is a joke

I’ve been as critical as anyone of Manny’s TUF dry humping wins, but to his credit he did slap a nasty submission on Nate Mohr very quickly in his last fight. In fact, I’ve personally imposed a moratorium on myself against any unflattering nicknames for Manny. Now if he goes out and gets another lackluster LnP decision then we shall see the return of “The British Prostitute.”

Mania, can we create this orignal idea, in which we e-mail Spike TV, and we ask them to make this card a 4 hour event starting at 7:00 PM and Ending at 11:00 PM, because I do not want to see Frankie Edgar/Gray Maynard and Din Thomas/Josh Neer on the undercard in which we will never see on TV.

So, you think we can do that ;)

I really can’t believe that they just bumped this event up to 12 fights. On paper, this card is PPV worthy. Sure, it doesn’t have any blockbuster PPV main event names, but it is filled with known fighters (Jeff “I Suck” Cox being the lone exception)

I cant understand the bias towards Manny He proved himself time and time again on the show even beating Joe L who will be fighting in the Main event on April 2cnd but manny is on the undercard sounds backwards to me

Some of you need to watch some of his fights again he doesnt just lay on his oppenents he comes out like a ball of energy and is relentless in all positions and has a great submmision game.

Lets see here Nate Diaz tuff winner of a six figure contract is not in the main event, Manny runner up on tuff is on the undercard but Joe lauzon semi finalist loser from tuff is in the main event.

I love Diaz and I don’t like Manny, but don’t disrespect Karo man.

Do you even know who he has fought?????? He’s fought the best in his weight class. He’s fought more talented fighters than any Fitch, Koschek, or Diego Sanchez. Are you kidding me??? I can think of 3 big fighters in the division he hasn’t fought: Hughes, Penn, and Fitch.

CoolHandChad: I am just lashing out at Karo not fighting Fitch. Karo has been fighting men since he was 16 years old…how could I not respect that. He has also fought some of the best fighters in the world. I am actually a fan of Karo.

The only bad things I can say about karo are:

-He hasnt finished fights in a while(but they are usually exciting decision wins, with the exception of the Ryo Chonan fight)

-I did not like the whole “you know who the F I am” comment he made to Nate Diaz on Tuf

-I wish he were fighting Fitch instead of alves.

I should have chosen my words more carefully because I do not want to give the impression that I am not a Karo fan because I am…not to mention the fact that he is still soooo young, makes him that much better. All in All I have been a big fan of Karo’s, a better way to express myself would be, I dont think that this was one of Karo’s better years.

He fought Shierk outside the Octagon, so probably had no say in who he was gonna fight.
He fought Sanchez before he has proven himself as a threat in the welter wieght division.

So dont tell me he has fought anyone tough recently!!!!!

Karo is a Ducker, thats it thats all so trying to be all like this smart ass and putting down anothers comment, because obviously your this big expert (bullshit) Get YOUR facts right, and realize THAT ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERED A THREAT TO KARO’S WINNING STREAK, HE WILL NOT FIGHT. PERIOD

I totally agree with everything.

Fitch/Karo would be a dream match.
He hasn’t finished fights, but the fights are usually bangers ex. Chonan.
I hated the bullshit on TUF. Big Nate Diaz supporter.

Karo v. Fitch will happen eventually. They’re too young, barring they don’t leave UFC, I think it will happen eventually. Sucks it isn’t happening sooner rather than later.

Josh:
Diego Sanchez wasn’t a proven threat at welter weight when they fought?? Come on. Diego had four UFC fights under his belt going into that fight. Two of which didn’t go past the 2nd minute of the 2nd round. A submission choke and a TKO. The other two were dominating unanimous decisions. Are you kidding me? That’s not a proven threat? Not including all the 2 round tuf bouts. He was proven. And he further proved it by beating Karo and go on to knock out Joe Riggs in the 1st.
What does having any say in who he fights have anything to do with making him a poor fighter? He fought Sherk, regardless of choice, he fought him.
He’s a proven fighter. He proves it fight after fight, regardless of you Fitch bandwagons (and I fucking love Fitch, from back to the Shooto USA fight with Shonie Carter) hating on him. Get my facts straight. Ha Ha Ha! How can you sit there and say that Ryo Chonan and Josh Burkman aren’t worthy fighters? He’s gotta work his way up. They’re giving him the 2nd tier guys and he’s fighting them…and winning. The top tier guys, GSP, Hughes, Serra (as much as I hate to say it), and until his last 2 fights BJ Penn, were all fighting each other. Fitch is fighting no one significantly better than Karo is fighting.

Ha, never mind.
Agree to disagree.

Yeah Finch got a real tough fight ahead of him, and Nate haven’t fought anyone of significance yet and we will see his true skills come April. He is finally fighting someone that is I consider a challenge and he is going to TKO him then what would you say………….. I imagine you will jump in someone else’s bandwagon and keep bashing Manny why dislike him he is 5′5″ and taking on someone who is 6′4″ obviosly he will have to take him down and pound him so Cox can not take advantage of his reach you call it boring I call it inspiration to all undersized people. Manny aint ducking anyone after his last fight he said we will fight anyone they throw in front of him he even said he would love to fight Sherk again I think all the lightweight besides BJ have little chance of taking on Sherk. I don’t see Nate ever calling out Sherk

Manny was kicking Diaz’s bitch ass… Maybe all you shit talkers forgot that. Diaz never beat him. Manny beat himself with a reoccurring shoulder injury. When Diaz gets the balls to fight Manny again, Manny is going to beat the shit out of him.

You think Manny’s fights are so boring but you all are obviously just a bunch of untrained fighters. Manny’s fights are very technical and pretty fun to watch if you have any idea what is going on….
