I used to be in awe of Cro cop...even in his loses I thought he'd still keep coming back to prove himself and even maybe evolve a bit as a fighter. I've lost a lot of respect for him now with this move. I can't see the UFC just letting him go...he's still a big name in MMA and thus would put butts in the seats. Plus it doesn't make any sense with the HW division where it's at today. I'd love to know exactly what went down. They probably offered him a fight with Brock and he got scared...lol. LOL…what a farce! I used to be in awe of Cro cop…even in his loses I thought he’d still keep coming back to prove himself and even maybe evolve a bit as a fighter. Was a great fight back in 2005, but now its a bit outdated, especially as he is on a losing streak and was never number 1 contender for his title in Pride and is especially not deserving of a shot at fedor until he defeats some real opponents. Having said that, Fedor himself hasnt really fought any big names so this could be a way of silencing his critics, although again Crocop hasnt performed well recently. Why would they refuse to let him out of his contract? they are currently playing him $250,000 (Brock Lesner Money) to get KTFO. Also Cro Cop hasnt done any promotoinal stuff for the UFC, he doesnt give interviews…I think Dana is fed up.
