Yeah…. About time somebody looks at what he has done in the UFC- For sure he needs a title shot. Plus, it will set up a huge UFC main event show down- Matt Serra or Georges St. Pierre whoever the winner is at UFC 82…. I can’t what to see that fight as well- I will be upset if they don’t give Jon Fitch a title shot. How can you not give a title shot to Jon Fitch? I hope Joe Silva hooks him up

Let me ask you this if FINCH was the champ do you think Karo would say no to finch for a fight. Thats what I thought……….. Karo is intrested in that title shot but for Finch his title shot is Karo

What is your criteria for being a contender? 14 wins in a row isn’t enough (7 in ufc)? He has victories over Sanchez, Alves and Burkman. I would be curious to hear who you think is deserving of a title shot.

andy the reason i said he doesent deserve a title shot is because i still think he needs to fight karo to prove that he is a true contender,now please dont get me wrong fitch is a good fighter and i think that he will do great in that class but i feel that he needs to beat a bigger name in the business first.[/quote]

Karo had his chance to prove Fitch is a pussy, but he decided to fight Burkamn instead. He had another chance to prove it, but he decides to fight Alves instead.

You say Fitch hasn’t fought anyone, but Karo keeps fighting guys he already beat.

I don’t know much about this Wilson guy, but Karo is definately going to have a much tougher fight against Thiago than Fitch is against Wilson. Thiago is no joke. I know Karo did not want to fight Fitch as he could see there being a possibilty that he could lose his title shot, but I am sure he did not want to fight Diego when he came back from injury after the UFC screwed him of his title shot, but he still had to fight Diego. How much say does a fighter have. I am sure if you are one of Dana’s butt buddies then you could probably decide who you would like to fight. I think Karo would have to fight who he is given whether that be Fitch or anyone else.

Lets face it they both deserve a shot, thats the problem with having such a stacked division.

However as it stands if Fitch beats Wilson i think he just and i mean just edges it.

Definitely! Fitch vs. GSP would be quite a fight. Fitch might be the only guy who can physically match up on the ground. I don’t think he can stand and strike with GSP though. Of course it all depends on which GSP shows up as they say.

Fithc does deserve it. It ain’t his fault the UFC hasnt given him Karo or soemthing, he’s beat Diego, taht’s a pretty big name, and with the exception of Diego, he has steamrolled everybody rather nicely. Fitch is undefeated, that already makes it more intersting than Karo vs. GSP.

Besides, GSP has already beat Karo, in GSP’s DEBUT.
