Everything that could have went wrong in his life did (some self caused ,some unavoidable). Those mistakes made him a much better fighter. The first fight GSP only trained for 2 weeks, this fight he's only taken 2 weeks off, since the first fight. How many fighters train for a fight for one year straight? Gsp is serious about getting his belt back. This is what GSP has been saying,and he sounds pissed when he says it, "maybe this fight will be different, and people will know what I'm talking about". Serra won't be in his head because he knows Serra beat the worst version of him and now he's better than ever. He'll run through Serra just like he did Hughes. That won't help him against a masterful GSP but it's hard to completely write off Serra, especially after the last fight and the guy has a lot of spirit.
