this isnt the first time the ufc has only given a fighter a slap on the wrist for a positive steroid test, most people forget that tim sylvia tested positive for steroids a few years back, and then got a title shot i believe in his very next fight…

I completely agree. I wouldnt recomend anyone laying and praying on BJ for 25 minutes. You go to the ground with BJ for 25 minutes…you WILL get caught in something…I dont care who you are! First off, I don’t see how you can say BJ is overrated… he just walked right through Stevenson, and has beat up some very noteable fighters… he only lost once by TKO to Hughes (he was whipping Hughes ass the first 2 rounds), and never by KO. Yes, he lacked cardio in his earlier years, but he’s in great shape now and he isn’t going to gas out.
Second, how is Chuck Lidell over-rated? Chuck held the belt for 3 years, and beat Couture twice during his reign. I’m tired of all the Chuck haters, give the guy the respect he deserves… especially after he just beat up on Wanderlei Silva.

They test for pot in all orgs man, dont you know anything about MMA and how the athletic comission works LoL See Nick Diaz VS. Gomi Tonkinori about what happens to pot smokers in MMA, theres no proof of BJ being a weed smoker (Im a huge fan and i bet he does burn fat in Hilo for sure!! No doubt!) Placement of the impact is much LESS trivial than power, Hermes was tired after the first minute, his lazy wild knees were not even that powerful, and the one that did land really good, did drop Sherk for a second.
Sherk recovers fast, i’ll give him that, but a well place right cross from Penn is better than a sloppy tired knee from Hermes, and even if he drops for a second, it will be enough time for Penn to get on top, and then, like Nog and Tim, it will be over.
What resistance does Sherk offer BJ except for strength. I have been in competition for over 30 years and have no respect for cheaters. BJ will bring it hard and if you think you can take him down Sherk, good luck. BJ has some of the best takedown defense in all of MMA. I only question Penn’s cardio which has gotten alot better of late. Alot of people and fans of MMA i know talk however the actual knowledge is two different things. I should have bet on Penn against Stevenson because he did exactly what i had predicted and walked through him with his experience.

I’m from Jersey and we have some pretty “tough” areas I guess. I’ve been to Hawaii several times, (Big Island, Maui & Oahu) and I have to agree Honolulu for one is a city like any other city, Just cause its paradise, believe me, you gotta watch your back. Specially in Waikiki after dark!

There is ZERO advantage for Sherk even in the strength department. For all you dunb mofos out there, a dude who is positively TINY (SMALL frame like Sherk) vs a significantly taller dude who has fought guys all the way up to light heavyweight, this will be NO CONTEST. Aside from the skills, it’s something called LEVERAGE. Ask any person with basic wrestling skills. Sherk will NEVER say Penns “DEAD” before the fight because he already knows he is going to get choked out. His best option is to lay and pray (and look gay).
Even if Penn was only decent, he wouldn’t be getting rocked by Sherk now. In fact, body/strength/motor wise, Stevenson is very similar to Sherk and he got OWNED like a 2 bit child molester in prison. A lot of people said he would wear out BJ or that he was so much stronger but obviously that wasn’t the case. Without the juice, Sherk will be weaker and less prepared. Anyone who understands what roids does for you medically is predominatly in the RECOVERY aspect of things. The primary benifits result in the ability to train harder, faster and MORE OFTEN (hence alot of where the extra STENGTH comes from, not just the testosterone part). Stength is the just one of the end results. Mark my words, Sherk is done.

First off, I don’t see how you can say BJ is overrated… he just walked right through Stevenson, and has beat up some very noteable fighters… he only lost once by TKO to Hughes (he was whipping Hughes ass the first 2 rounds), and never by KO. Yes, he lacked cardio in his earlier years, but he’s in great shape now and he isn’t going to gas out.
Second, how is Chuck Lidell over-rated? Chuck held the belt for 3 years, and beat Couture twice during his reign. I’m tired of all the Chuck haters, give the guy the respect he deserves… especially after he just beat up on Wanderlei Silva.

First off, I don’t see how you can say BJ is overrated… he just walked right through Stevenson, and has beat up some very noteable fighters… he only lost once by TKO to Hughes (he was whipping Hughes ass the first 2 rounds), and never by KO. They test for pot in all orgs man, dont you know anything about MMA and how the athletic comission works LoL See Nick Diaz VS. Gomi Tonkinori about what happens to pot smokers in MMA, theres no proof of BJ being a weed smoker (Im a huge fan and i bet he does burn fat in Hilo for sure!! No doubt!) Placement of the impact is much LESS trivial than power, Hermes was tired after the first minute, his lazy wild knees were not even that powerful, and the one that did land really good, did drop Sherk for a second.
Sherk recovers fast, i’ll give him that, but a well place right cross from Penn is better than a sloppy tired knee from Hermes, and even if he drops for a second, it will be enough time for Penn to get on top, and then, like Nog and Tim, it will be over.

What resistance does Sherk offer BJ except for strength. I have been in competition for over 30 years and have no respect for cheaters. BJ will bring it hard and if you think you can take him down Sherk, good luck. BJ has some of the best takedown defense in all of MMA. I only question Penn’s cardio which has gotten alot better of late. Alot of people and fans of MMA i know talk however the actual knowledge is two different things. I should have bet on Penn against Stevenson because he did exactly what i had predicted and walked through him with his experience.

The only difference between the places you quoted and being from Hawaii (Which I am), you can’t hide in a car or behind a wall and shoot a gun. I’m from Jersey and we have some pretty “tough” areas I guess. I’ve been to Hawaii several times, (Big Island, Maui & Oahu) and I have to agree Honolulu for one is a city like any other city, Just cause its paradise, believe me, you gotta watch your back. Specially in Waikiki after dark!

There is ZERO advantage for Sherk even in the strength department. For all you dunb mofos out there, a dude who is positively TINY (SMALL frame like Sherk) vs a significantly taller dude who has fought guys all the way up to light heavyweight, this will be NO CONTEST. Aside from the skills, it’s something called LEVERAGE. Ask any person with basic wrestling skills. Sherk will NEVER say Penns “DEAD” before the fight because he already knows he is going to get choked out. His best option is to lay and pray (and look gay).
Even if Penn was only decent, he wouldn’t be getting rocked by Sherk now. In fact, body/strength/motor wise, Stevenson is very similar to Sherk and he got OWNED like a 2 bit child molester in prison. A lot of people said he would wear out BJ or that he was so much stronger but obviously that wasn’t the case. Without the juice, Sherk will be weaker and less prepared. Anyone who understands what roids does for you medically is predominatly in the RECOVERY aspect of things. How do you know he hasn’t been cheating and getting away with it his whole life? Everyone that knows pro sports will tell you people get away with juicing ALL THE TIME.
