Yo Dasdus i think you seriously are looking to deep for a reason why cro cop isnt at the top atm... fact is he lost a fight due to KO, then fought a fellow kickboxer who has plenty of size and skill... Mirko busted a rib in that fight which would explain those sloppy kicks and lack of punches. MMA fighters tend to be judged based solely on recent performances.. if you ever wrestled or anything like that you also meet the same guys at higher competition and they often exchange wins.. just depends on the day. Psychology may be a factor but for gods sake hes only lost a couple fights no biggie even if he loses again it wont matter to me, fighters lose and he didnt look any different than the normal mirko in the first round against Kongo he was doing great then slowed down for a reason...

I am probably the biggest Crocop fan and I know exactly what is wrong with the guy. First of all I think physically and in terms of talent he has potential to be the best in the heavyweight division-however, I also think that first of all he has a big ego and his hype was bought by Pride but after his big shot reputation as a terrorist killer in North america was shattered by Gonzaga his ego was distroyed to a point that I think it has become a fear for him. I know about sport psychology and it can effect fighters-for example if you get into a bike accident you will fear bikes and the more that accident has effected you emotionally and mentally the more you'll fear that situation so fighting is no different Gonzaga was the emtional mental scarring of the bike accident. When you walk around like you own the place like Crocop did and get headkicked to the head and have you ankle twisted in such a fashion your self image would go from God to zero. This is what has happend to Crocop and I am almost certain of it. That is why he keeps postponing his fights that is why he doesn't come to America because his mind resists and hesitates the idea. I like Crocop but I think that his mind literally takes control over him so that he can't function to the best of his ability. He is no longer smooth like he used to because he's fighting the fear that his mind is producing. If you really watch his fight and listen to his interviews he says it himself to that he is nervous and he can't focus in the octagon-well anxiety comes when you doubt and fear a situation and if you see his fighting he doesn't use all his power, technique, agility, aggression-this man is dangerous if he uses all of that...LONG STORY SHORT I CAN PUT MY LIFE ON THE IDEA THAT IF HE GETS THE BEST DAMN SPORT PSYCHOLOGIST IN THE WORLD HE WILL BE THE UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION I AM SO CERTAIN OF THAT. Look at GSP that guy is talent, creative, well-rounded, just the scariest fighter in welterweight if his mind is right believe me Crocop and GSP might look like very different people but they are almost the same nature as a character with different weights. If you see his fights in pride he was so agile, strong, fast, aggressive, dominant, he was looked up to and respect so after you come from that to headkick to head in such a fashion MAN I FEEL FOR HIM SO MUCH I mean when I see such a unfair thing I really wish I could help that man start winning or just going back to his normal self
Cro Cop can still sell tickets. It would be foolish for the UFC to void his contract or let him go. Even if he loses put him in the cage with another fighter and the fans will be intrigued. As long as he can keep selling tickets the UFC should keep him around.

PS: he should fight Brandon Vera next
I agree, he should fight Vera. this would get he back on track.

i would be surprised if AA goes anywhere. he seems to genuinely like fighting in the UFC and is content to stay there, regardless of how much he makes. at least that is the impression i keep getting from his interviews.

How could Cop be so good in Pride and suck so bad in the UFC. I know the fighters in the UFC are good, but are they that much better? That says a lot for the skill in the UFC.
I think Brock should retire Tim Sylvia with their next fight!!!

and what about aa there not resigning him whats dana excuse for that.As long as people continue to buy ppv he does not care who is on them the cheapier the better for dana he is not out for the sport like he says thats fine but wuit trying to say your looking out for the sport, he is the one keeping the best competitors out, now look what there doing to aa

As the former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski's contract with the UFC ends on April 15, without a contract extension, the promotion decided to bury one of the best known fighters in the sport on the under card of UFC 82.

It seems like a bad move by the UFC to not hang on to their branded celebrity fighters such as Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Andrei Arlovski and Nick Diaz, but instead pay outside fighters ridiculous about of money to fight in the UFC. (Cro Cop, Lesnar, Shogun, Chonan, Silva).

As a free agent, Arlovski will be able to shop around and become a headliner for one of the major deep waleted promotions like EliteXC, M-1 or HDNet Fights.
