It was the same story with Josh Koscheck-Diego Sanchez: More action at the weigh-ins than in the fight. I guess we can never judge a fight until it happens. Two fighters can have bad blood to last for days, but it doesn't mean a thing if they go out there and lay eggs all night. Sounds like the fight didn’t live up to the hype generated at the weigh-ins. Seriously though, I heard he was accidently knocked out in training for Travis Lutter really close to the fight. I don't know, maybe this explained why he went out with only a glancing blow...He kept it quiet and had they known he would not have been allowed to fight Lutter. Eastman also holds a win over Rampage although it was a while back. He had a war with Lambert in KOTC that was a close fight but I thought he won it, he brutalized Lambert in one of the rounds. Both are coming off losses and aren't in any contention for the strap any time soon, and both aren't exactly showing huge promise so what would be the point of building one of them up? He lasted longer then I expected with rampage at 205 I don't think Terry Martin would have made it out of the first alive. Eastman has a far more impressive resume then T Marty lets call a spade a spade. Well I don’t think either fighter is in a better position, they are stepping stones for eachother. Both are coming off losses and aren’t in any contention for the strap any time soon, and both aren’t exactly showing huge promise so what would be the point of building one of them up?
