Tito is for sure going to leave UFC. Besides he will be offered more money fighting a lower caliber of fighters. That is where he needs to be. He will be a top contender anywhere else, just in the UFC. We haven’t seen the Huntington Beach Badboy in a very long time.

If Tito can some how beat Machida which is unlikely that would be the ultimate insult to the UFC on his way out and I wouldnt mind seeing that happen even though I like Lyoto.

Its not that tito is no longer a strong fighter or is washed up because he isnt. Its the fact that he has Debilitating back injuries that will more than likely force him to retire soon. Athletes who are 29 to 32 are considered in thier prime and if it were not for serious injuries he could still be one of the very best, and the UFC know this that why they could care less when he leaves.

I personally do not like Tito Ortiz as a person, but I respect that he is one of the faces that has progressed mixed martial arts forward. My only complaint is that he seems to not care about fighting anymore. His fights are few and far between and when he does take one he performs lackadaisical and almost always has an excuse (injury) after every one. He says he fights just for his “fans”, but what his fans really want to see is a fighter who will stop bitching and get back to what put him where he is…fighting, throwing them elbows.
Machida will beat Ortiz whether Tito knows his first name or not. And then the best thing Tito should do is take a contract somewhere else where he can bully mediocre talent for a few years. Yeah that was the impression I was left with. You almost wonder if him and a Randy Couture put together some cash, investors, and a good fighter oriented promotion it could threaten the UFC big time. I mean Think about that, a fighters run promotion with most of the profits actual going to the fighters. Can they get enough talent in the begining to get off their feet.

Tito only lost 2 fights in the last 6 years, but 2 of his win, the Forrest fight and the Rashad fight he got the win against forrest and the draw against Rashad because he is Tito. That is the only reason he does not have 4 loses. He got to gifts wrapped in bows a win and a draw. Also he just scraped by PAtrick Cote and Vito Belfort. He did win against Cote but that fight but it was close as I recall. And of his last few wins 3 are against Ken Shamrock. Wow, really impressive 3 wins against Ken Shamrock, ascrape pass Cote and Vito, A Win against Forrest(that Forrest should have gotten the W for that), and the Rashad draw should have gone to Rashad as well. So his record in the last few years is really not that impressive. IS he still a major draw? Mre than likely for the everyday UFC and MMA fan. Is he compensated for that? He is one of the top 5 paid Mixed MArtial artists and possibly top 3-So yeah he is getting paid. Does he deserve more? I do not agree with you when you say that Tito lost against Forrest or Rashad.If I were Tito I would erase the last two Kens’ victories from my record cause they mean nothing. Other than that his fights are always entertaining.

Perhaps Tito didn’t get close to what he wanted??? No doubt Lorenzo is a sharp businessman as Tito said but being sharp and ruthless are two different things.
