ProElite sent around a press release this evening, announcing that Tank Abbott will appear on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight at 12:05 a.m.
He’ll be hyping up his upcoming fight against Kimbo Slice from the Bank United Center at the University of Miami on February 16.
Never one to mince words, the straight-shooting Tank is always an interesting interview, leaving fans with some comedic sound bytes in his wake.
A couple memorable ones that spring to mind are:
“After a match, my opponent goes to the hospital and gets an IV and I have a martini.”
Or my personal favorite:
“He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day and looks like a pussy today.”
Pure genius.
His appearance tonight should be worth a look for comical purposes alone. Therefore, definitely check it out or program the DVRs.

The thing about Tank is that he’s such a natural fighter. Not too many guys can show up to a pro fight without training and not end up hospitalized. It’s just too bad he doesn’t care enough to hone his craft, or he could have been a force in MMA.

Kimbo Slice & Tank looks like two mofos from Oz going at it…but that makes me wanna watch! Kimbo will likely have to much for Tank at 42 yrs old. However I believe Kimbo wil get housed if he faces anyone legitimate in the UFC.
Tank is exactly what Abbot is going to do… Slice will own him.
